Tashan Oakley-Boothe

Anyone who went to the game today, thoughts on Tashan Oakley-Boothe? How did he look? Looking at Wikipedia, he won the U17 world cup with England, and this highlights video of him certainly looks promising:

He didn't do loads, recycled possession reasonably well. Quite well built. We are very well stocked in central midfield though. Lacking in forward areas.

Tidy enough player on the ball but hard to tell as Hibs with all their subs where really poor second half.

Looked pretty decent, fitness levels unknown but nice tidy player. I'd deal on a free personally for him.

At 6ft tall I thought he may be worth signing to add a bit of height and physical presence to our midfield, then I saw that Ollie Norburn is 6ft 1", had no idea he was that tall.

Not played much football for a 23 year old and seems like he may be injury prone. Hopefully we've learned our lesson, and if we do offer a contract it will be in our favour.

Easily pleased. You can't sign a player on the basis of 25 minutes against kids who stand off and apply no pressure. .
