Taught a lesson

Maybe we should have sabotaged our pitch as theirs was a great leveller. Seriously though they were excellent and played the type of football we all want to see from BFC.
Absolutely. Full credit to them tonight.
They had quality all over the pitch, something we can only dream of. They just never seemed to let up and we simply had no answer to any of it.

Our lot looked absolutely shattered. We were slower to the ball, couldn't tackle and definitely couldn't pass. We wouldn't score if we were still playing now and Posh had gone home. We were that ineffective.

Really think too many are not giving Posh the credit they deserved. They were excellent, we huffed and puffed but were lucky to still be in the game. We have played worse and won, but Sadler should be looking at Posh for his sustainable model of how to run a football club, and it starts from the top with Barry Fry still having a major influence as a mentor, and them cherry picking young players, from non league and lower divisions. That was a very young side that had the nous to destroy us

Who does their scouting?they have picked out gems for years now going back to Toney and Eisa even going back to McLean and Jimmy Bullard aswell

I think Fry has a massive list of contacts still, and they are not scared to Speculate to accumulate. They probably turn over their players more than most but those who leave are generally sold at a good profit and replaced by hungry players with potential

You have to begrudgingly admire them as a club, love their owners openness as well which is in stark contrast to our own. Our fortunes are pretty closely tied in recent years, I think the only difference between us and the reason we were able to stay up whilst they never can manage it is their weak support and PNE-esque atmosphere at games whereas when things are good for us we really push the club forward as a 12th man.
