Taxi for Ten Haag?

No-one really cares
The local ‘plastic reds’ and most of F/wood will continue to follow their 2nd teams.
I’m surprised Ten-Haag can be bothered to stay - he had better things to do with his career - he’s a fair manager and where are they in the Prem - 6th? So it’s seriously not that bad (they aren’t really good enough to be 6th though) - he’s literally one more heavy defeat from being told to leave and I suspect that invitation might be in his Xmas Card delivered at Anfield this w/end

The one player who stands out for me who really cares about his game, tries to lead the team and has played well is McGuire

Good piece in the Guardian re the task any United manager has:

1 manage the past and it’s expectations

2 manage the dysfunctional circus of the present (players like Martial who have been there years whilst producing eff all, a never ending takeover bid, semi interested players)

3 so what managers normally do: coach, select, motivate

United will be top 6 or 7 - let’s face it they have and will be given ridiculous VAR decisions to keep them at that level: but under this ownership you would struggle to find a manager in the world to get them involved in a title battle

Should have voted to remain 😁
Roy Keane got it spot on when he said that it if it's not right off the pitch, it can't be right on it.

Jim Ratcliffe will eventually take control and will sort Man U out.
Think he will realise their most successful recent period is when most of team came from youth set up and will go down that route again.

Their academy is light years behind Liverpool and City these days. OT is a dump and needs millions spending on it. As for the 1st team squad, I'd doubt City, Liverpool or Arsenal would swap a single player. Whilst the Glazers retain majority holding, there's only 1 direction the club is going in. Ratcliffe won't make a jot of difference and any full takeover will take years. Let them rot!

Loving the ongoing demise of Man U. The performance against Bayern actually shocked me. You would have thought both teams had already qualified, it was like a training game.
No aggression, no purpose and not even much skill on show. You would never have guessed United needed a win.
Hopefully there will be fewer kids in Man U tops kicking around the Fylde in the coming years. Maybe they will even support us if we are successful.

I wish this were so, it only means the red of Manchester will be replaced by the blue. Going to a game is just a once a season thing, or less. I over heard a Manure fan in the gym discussing Blackpool and boasting how he last went to watch us when Ince was in charge. Mind you, his brand of football would put a lot of people off going.

My brother went to Manchester Christmas Markets yesterday afternoon. He said there were thousands of Bayern fans all on the piss. Said it was hilarious and it felt like Oktoberfest!
