The club is rotten. This is symbolic of the whole season. Football is a TEAM sport

If you read Jimmy Armfield's biography he had to wait by the roadside for the team bus. If you were late, they left you behind. Things have moved on somewhat since then of course, but having a bus with one player on it is downright bizarre.
