Not sure I'd play Husband 3 times in a week so swap him for one of the dev lads.I'm expecting a raft of changes.

It would be good to get some minutes into Joseph, whether that be as a starter or a sub. Apter and Holmes should also feature. I'd prefer to have 1 experienced head in the back 3 however. It's not crucial by any means but a good cup run never did anyone any harm. Not sure I'd play Husband 3 times in a week so swap him for one of the dev lads.
Surely Holmes is fine by then too, start him, maybe another dev lad, maybe Apter and bring Joseph on later...
I just wouldn't be risking too many given our injury record, we still have a good squad players there with the promising dev players. It would be good to get some minutes into Joseph, whether that be as a starter or a sub. I think Brad was actually available for Burton. Not sure I'd play Husband 3 times in a week so swap him for one of the dev lads.

I'd play him and Apter on Tues., these are the games they need, games with more meaning more often.I think Brad was actually available for Burton.
Just as a bit of an aside the Development Squad are playing Rangers (away) at 2pm on Wednesday.
Where at mate? Is it ‘behind closed doors’ or can fans pay to go?Just as a bit of an aside the Development Squad are playing Rangers (away) at 2pm on Wednesday.
Sorry but I never even thought to ask.Where at mate? Is it ‘behind closed doors’ or can fans pay to go?
Too risky. 3 games in first week asking for injuries! We need to play our strongest team available , if we could win against Derby in the Cup, then surely this will breed confidence and help build momentum .
Are you trying to be enigmatic? No Lyons
Bit random - intentionally so?No Lyons
Don't dismiss this team as losing. Good team. Don't want injuries to anybody especially most of Saturdays team. Plus can't see Derby playing all their first team either .We need to play our strongest team available , if we could win against Derby in the Cup, then surely this will breed confidence and help build momentum .
ExactlyWe certainly can't afford to risk Lavery, Marv, Grimshaw and Norburn. Especially with Pennington having a slight groin niggle. Trybull, Lyons and Joseph all need minutes. It'll be interesting to see which way Critchley goes.
That would be crazy! We need to play our strongest team available , if we could win against Derby in the Cup, then surely this will breed confidence and help build momentum .
Quite like this.O'Donnell
Casey Tharme Husband
Lyons Virtue Trybull Dougall Thompson
Dale Beesley
Subs: Grimshaw, Ekpiteta, Lankshear, Hamilton, Connolly, Carey, Apter, Holmes, Joseph.
From what Critch said I think Joseph is a couple of weeks off being match fit.Any minutes for Joseph will be a bonus too.
Fair enoughFrom what Critch said I think Joseph is a couple of weeks off being match fit.
Impressive chess analogy!three pawns up front rooks bombing down the side . two bishops forming a resilent mid field. king at the back with the queen in a holding role in front. two knights playing left and right bck. five pawns on the bench. the reverse critchovic double sided gambit. . dont care really just give youth a chance. we should have more than enough for a result. we owe them for the home defeat a couple of seasons back.
gonna have a another one for the exeter game. ol crtichovic will have a master plan worked out for the Ancient Grecians.Impressive chess analogy!
