I wasn't impressed with Lyons, Carey or Morgan (how he got MOM is a mystery to me). Marv will be up for playing against his former club, he gets one more chance. Husband impressed late on and delivered some good crosses. CJ is an enigma but his pace is a threat and I don't see anyone else in the squad that could play that role until Gabriel is fit.

Casey deserves to keep his place. CJ should be on the bench and used as an impact player against a tiring defence.

Connolly will be back in I reckon. Won both games he started in.
Play him in the back 3 and give Ekpiteta a breather.

Guessing Joseph unavailable.

We are in serious trouble if we cant beat Orient, whatever team we put out.
They have lost all 3 games, conceding 8 goals. Having sold their first choice goalkeeper to Burnley their second choice got injured. So they have had to choose an inexperienced goalkeeper they recently bought from Wealdstone. Their top scorer from last year , Agyei, is out for a while. They have other injuries.A centre back was sent off last night..Richie Wellens and his asst were red carded last night so should have limited involvement on Saturday .
Odds in our favour ? Not a game for caution.

Seen at final whistle wellens and assistant got red cards last night... so does that mean neither will be on side lines sat?

Back to the Sven diamond midfield. Last chance saloon for CJ on his favoured left but he has shown decent out of possession discipline which NC is big on. Morgan also would need that to allow Lyons & Husband to get forward. Weir no.10 role behind front two. Time off from 🙈Ekpiteta trying to play out.

Personally thought Lyons looked really comfortable and that we looked our most threatening when he got involved higher up the pitch. Felt we missed too many opportunities to play a reverse pass or through ball on to him when he made the run beyond the midfield too.

Carey was disappointing. I assume the plan was to use his energy and tirelessness to press the opposition but it just didn’t happen. He was wrongly (I think) given a yellow for a ‘dive’ (but no player with half a brain cell would have gone down in that position unless fouled) and I would have hooked him off then as asking a midfielder to press the opposition on a yellow is asking for trouble.

Can’t fathom Morgan’s POtM award either. He didn’t appear to really do anything from what I saw.

If I was in the dugout I’d have pulled Carey and Morgan off at half time and given Weir and Beesley more minutes - but obviously Critch and the coaching team know more than we do about what they’re able to offer.

What is the point of everyone choosing their own team ? !

Remember all those corners that beat the first man and ended up in the box? That was Morgan.
Unfortunately our players aren't used to it so nobody took advantage.

Yep I thought Morgan looked good second half

I'm missing something with Weir, he had little impact on a below average game and was postionally all over the place. Not saying he wont be good, just cant see why everyone is building their teams round him based on that 15 minute cameo

Possibly because he scored 10 goals from midfield last season and he’s come here to play games?

So you’re thinking a 2-2-1-2-1-2 formation?
Could work
