I'd have Ekpiteta in place of Casey personally. They will be big lads and he copes better with a physical battle.
 
I’d start both Casey and Ekpiteta there’s going to be a lot of long balls to deal with so I’d feel a lot more confident with these two starting.

O'Donnell had a great game in terms of shot stopping last night and has looked assured in all the games he's played, but it's his distribution and kicking that isn't up to Grimshaw's level, and nearly ended up costing us a couple of times last night, so for that reason I'd have to keep Grimshaw in, as you'd expect us to control the ball more vs a Steve Evans team. Otherwise I'd agree with the rest of the team.

Game of opinions fella. I rate Grimmy and would be fine with either in net tbh
 
Pennington won’t be starting I don’t think. First minutes for a while last night so expect a back 3 of Casey Marv and Husband. Like the idea of Hamilton and Dembele either side of Joseph though. Will mean we can have big impacts off the bench from Lavery and Kylian(presuming Rhodes is still out)

Critchley doesn't pick Eki because he's not too good at distributing the ball when Critchley has the players playing tippy tappy football. If we don't see Eki in the first eleven then we know we are going there to play tippy tappy football and end up getting stuffed.

But he is by far our best defensive defender, we also tend to play out more from the right and left side, and Morgan when he drifts centrally is a good outlet, as is virtue in that role. Also marvs distribution from a central role is nowhere near as bad as Norburns. Additionallly last night we were caught out a dozen times, and it's been a consistent failing, and I personally think its largely down to Norburn not doing his defensive job.
 
I'd want Eki and Hubby in the back three, the others a Todd up between Casey and Pennington, but it'll probably be Connolly for the physicals.

Joseph is ill he should have been in the squad Tuesday night but was throwing up all Monday night

You mean the same tippy tappy football we played at home when we stuffed them 3-0 and made them look distinctly shite?
