If it is him l doubt that both parties would agree to 'can we leave until we know which league the MASSIVE are playing in next season'.

Don’t see the relevance of SW getting to the playoff final or not. If he’s joining us he should have been given a deadline, if not, fuck off. Sheffield Wednesday’s prolonged season is of no concern to us. BFC‘s interests come first.

I mentioned this in the match thread, the thing is it may never have been this guy and it would be crazy to think that if it is we would wait until the play offs finished. It will be another 10 days now and what if they win, will he want to stay? If it is him and he has agreed to leave when the Masive's season is over then that would be a massive error on our part, we can't wait until June to appoint someone and then announce a manager after that. The trouble is, with all the fuck ups in the last year you can't help but worry.

Hopefully it's someone else and we will get some positive announcements tomorrow or next week, the longer it goes with no news the more the worry.

After last season's cock ups you can't help but worry about the outcome of this. In other jobs you wouldn't keep things under wraps during a notice period. That period is to help his current employer with succession planning - nothing more than that.
And if it isn't Downes the issue is still the same. What is going on?

Don’t believe anything until it’s announced by our club, and we’re well overdue an announcement, any announcement.

I can believe for one minute a sporting director is happy to move to a much smaller club and remain in league one when the club he’s at now is 90/120 minutes away from the championship. 🤷‍♂️
Wednesday are still a basket case regardless of which Division they're in.
