10,000 home fans at Bloomers every week in what has been an atrociously run season from start to finish. That f'ing board don't deserve us, we've been let down so badly by their incompetent miss-management of our beloved Pool.

SHAME ON EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU.

We had so much to look forward to at our great club, and those bunch of useless, arrogant, privileged and misinformed twerks who we are forced to put our trust into, have taken everything away from us.

I cannot tell you how angry I am about the position we find ourselves in, it was all so unavoidable and yet those buffoons failed to react competently to all the signs that were staring them right in their faces.

Mansford wasn’t in charge of recruitment, John Stevenson was responsible for that, and he’s gone now, so has his replacement.

Bit angry tonight lad😁

The most frustrating thing about this season has been that no club, apart from Burnley and Boro have been that good at Bloomfield Rd, WBA were bang average tonight and are, for now in a playoff spot🤷

Plus, the fact we only had to win one game a month after we'd just gone back to back against Nobbers and Cov and we wouldn't have been in the relegation zone.

Can't wait for Shrewsbury next season 😫

Ultimately the buck stops with SS. Every decision made will either require his approval, or the approval of someone he's appointed. He should get the plaudits when we get promoted and take the flak when we get relegated, especially when it's been avoidable imo. It'll be interesting to see if he's learned anything from this abomination of a season - the managerial appointment will be very telling in that respect, I think.
For the record, I still think he'll do well for us and want him to stay but I don't see how anyone could argue he's shown very bad judgement in the last twelve months.

Ok, after a nights sleep I’ve chilled…..but go and follow another team?

I’m not sure about yourself Mac but I’ve been watching the Pool for the best part of 50 years. I was a season ticket holder when we applied for re-election in the old Div 4 when the average gates were c2000.

This relegation feels different to the previous ones, far far more painful. I personally believe it was avoidable compared to previous ones, and yet here we are again.

A season of poor managerial appointments, poor loan signings, lack of missed and permanent player signings. None of that is my fault hence the passionate OP, yet your response to me was to defend the board so I take it you are happy with the boards running of the club and you trust them to get it right next season?

If wrong decisions are/were being made you'd expect his chief advisor to be vocal about it with SS. The fact the mistakes were made day in, day out indicates to me that BM was giving bad advice.

Anyway, BM won't be here next season. Cost cutting.

He isn’t on a ‘reported £600k wage’. In fact his remuneration has been widely reported because it’s a matter of the club’s financial records and it’s not anywhere near that.

Amazing that some people want to return to the days of failed pub landlords and farmers running the club.
 
Sadler installed Mansford to run the show, which has been shit for a good 18 months now. If he isn’t demanding better then I’d be disappointed. Personally I think Mansford talks the talk but delivery falls very short. I’m worried he appears to be in an unassailable position where failure doesn’t effect him.

He'd do well in NHS upper management.
 
This relegation could have been avoided just as our relegation from the Premier League could and should have been avoided. Tragic really.
 
We see with politicians what doing an important job with low wages encourages.

Football CEOs are usually on decent money, but usually move on if they're not producing after a few years. Then you have the Ridsdales of the world too...

Don’t even let them resign - it then looks like they’re doing the club a favour and behaving acceptably following a poor season.

The fact is, between the board and Sadler / they have plummeted us to relegation due to a lack of interest and investment. Sack the lot of them. None of them, Sadler included, truly care.
