It's good how the Fleetwood fans are self isolating by getting nowhere near selling 4200 tickets. In this current climate you can't be too careful.

Loads of Seasiders in Fleetwood. Slag the club but no need for the rest. Just look at recent reports on the depravation in Blackpool and concentrate on getting things right in your own town.

That is very poor if they can't sell all their tickets for this. Nicely positioned for a tilt at the play offs as well as a match against us. Pilley must be very happy 😬
 
Yes. Not on the way they have handled the ticket allocation to us either. Basically throwing them at folk here in Fleetwood and BES employees.
 
All the deprivation in Blackpool is imported allegedly by Blackpool council, by taking on problem families from other Authorities for a payment.

Most of the rest are just day trippers who forgot to get back on the bus.

In Fleetwood it is just local deprivation.
 
It's a football forum though. Take the pee of the football club and fans by all means
 
Preston is a given. Cant say I've see our own slagging off Blackpool but there you go. I'm quite happy in Fleetwood thanks as are hundreds of Seasiders.
 
I didn't say you weren't happy in Fleetwood. I said it's fine for Pool fans on a Blackpool forum to take the piss out of Fleetwood; it's only a joke ffs.

And I've seen plenty of fans on here slag off the likes of Grange Park, Layton, Mereside etc.
 
Cant say I've seen Blackpool fans slate their own town. How odd but I'll take your word for it. I wonder why certain people are slagging the town at the moment and not the football club.
 
I'm kind of with GJJW with this one will never slag off Fleetwood as a town have family and friends there and find the people good folk,
But the club and their fans can totally GTF. 👍
 
Yes I'm fair game in Fleetwood for being a Seasider and I can live with that.

Slag the club, players, manager and fans or lack of. Slagging the town is your call but don't see the need unless people are clutching at straws.

I don't take the piss out of any area it's totally snobbery.
Get annoyed when clowns talk down Blackpool when they are comparing a few area's and forget the huge place we live in.
Nothing wrong with Fleetwood plenty of nice area's to live and it's just the way things are high streets are dying which there's is.

I haven't slagged the town, I'm just saying it's pretty much to be expected on a Blackpool forum the week we play Fleetwood.

You seem to be taking it personally, when it's just people taking the piss.
 
I just don't get it. It's a football forum and we are playing them at football. Not comparing towns, facilities or parks. I cant stand fans singing blackpool is a shit hole and I think it's always them clutching at straws. This is the same to me. But, I'm sure there will be more stuff posted about everything other than FTFC and its players etc.

But your first post in this thread was to put down Central Drive.

Some people need to take a deep breath and get sucking into a brown paper bag if they get upset with other peoples thoughts.

Not sure what that is I'm afraid, but yes plenty of things to disagree about, debate and have civilised discussions about.
 
Hysterical thread this. I've never seen anything in Fleetwood to approach the squalor of Central Drive and its environs. And I spent the first four years of my life living in The Garth.

To be fair, Blackpool doesn't match up to parts of East London or the big Catholic ghettos in South East Glasgow. But that isn't much to be proud of.
