Gillingham.I doubt he'd want it. A good run here could lead to a decent position in the South. Maybe even as a DoF type jobby.
He probably end up at Reading or their ilk.Gillingham.
I didn't realise Mick is a resident of Kent. There's obviously a non football related reason for choosing to live there.Being a Kent resident, would he want to give up that up to flip flop between there and Blackpool?
I get the feeling this probably suits both parties although what I would say is that Blackpool is an infectious club and by May with warmer days and the beauty of the Fylde Coast who knows what he’ll decide.
Yeah. I was just messing about tbh.He probably end up at Reading or their ilk.
Yeah, I know. But the chances of a FT here are non-existent in any event.Yeah. I was just messing about tbh.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, there's no guarantees. Even if we'd got Pep in! On the risk of repeating myself I do believe we have a better chance of survival now.Say McCarthy guides us to a dozen wins and takes us to mid-table whilst the whole time the board have been working in the background on this manager who will give us an exciting new future?
Do you ditch that man and persuade Mick to stay or do you stick with the plan?
Yep.Ditch and move on. Not a long term appointment in my book.
i think he'll bugger off. Yorkshire style.Yep.
Some footballers are impact players.
MM is an impact manager.
But I can see him "going upstairs" afterwards to a DoF role.
The board are crying out for an experienced football man who's been there, done it.
I can see the pull of Kents only club being irresistible
If he keeps us up he can have my mums bungalow at Rossall ..... I'll even throw in my mum if we stick another 4 past the NobbersHe’ll be moving into beachfront penthouse at Rossall by September
We have a DoFYep.

Doesn't mean with us I think.Mick McCarthy: 'I'd have sacked myself at Cardiff but it's great to be back in at Blackpool'

McCarthy has not ruled it out though!
"McCarthy told friends on Thursday that Blackpool is either his “swansong” or – if it goes as he hopes – might just end up being the start of another managerial journey."
McCarthy is an old school manager and as he said in his interview, these days there's a lot of new formations and methodology in football and sometimes you know when it's time to call it a day. My Dad retired last year from a job he's had for 30 years for that same reason and he's only 62.Mick McCarthy: 'I'd have sacked myself at Cardiff but it's great to be back in at Blackpool'

Reminds me of when Pulis was working at Stoke & living in Sandbanks.
I assume part of the deal is the provision of a house in Lytham / St Annes.
