Just thinking with all the speculation around players coming and going, we’re all a little too comfortable about our managers future, I think we’re only a sacking away in the lower prem or big champ club from loosing Chritch!
Don’t want it to be so, but just seems a matter of time?

Hes just signed a deal a few months ago and will want to see the training ground and east through and he has a great setup and support here.

Gets to do what he loves in coaching young players and improving them pressure yes but not like he would in the prem or elsewhere.

Should be here a good few years hopefully, its a great fit, grass isn't always greener.

Not ATM. This is the typical response for players who are starting to shine & managers too. Lets just wait a while & not be to hasty in our opinions. Wait until they consolidate their achievements.

He is part of more than just the first team and is integrated into the whole fabric of regenerating this great club and more importantly he has the trust of
those above to influence and direct.

Very few have that opportunity. He is also never 5 results away from the dreaded vote of confidence.

Last and by no means least he wouldn't get the same volume or atmosphere anywhere that eclipses Bloomfield Road.

Sorry why is it a bad post?, I’m just being real, how long can we keep our great manager for?, yes we have a project with the training ground, new east stand etc, but we are talking football here and money talks, if a bigger club came in for him from the Prem then he goes, it’s as simple as that.

Old Layton, I’m sorry I used the wrong spelling, of which you found so very offensive, I won’t do that again!
The fact you called me out on that is very disturbing 😂

I’m very comfortable about our manager’s future regarding him getting poached by a premiership club,he’ll be going nowhere for a good while, most of them including their fans would be gutted if he was appointed instead of a second rate manager from abroad or a retired top name ex professional player
he’s obviously loving building the team/squad not to mention the support from the chairman, as for the fans he’ll not be loved so much wherever he goes in the future and he knows it

Critch is in a perfect situation as a manager. Local to him, coaching youngsters without anyone else poking their noses in and as long as we remain in the Championship, complete job security.

Anything can happen but every indication shows he's delighted to be here. Just the way he speaks, his body language, the guys eyes are lit up like Christmas lights when he talks about the club.

Like any manager though they have their own career to think about and if the right offer comes along from a bigger club, who knows. I think we're a season away from that myself, if we're pushing playoffs next year then maybe, but if we're pushing playoffs I trust Sadler, Mansford etc to get someone in who'll keep the ship sailing in the right direction.

I think critch will stay. All the money in the world won't buy you happiness, and he seems really happy here and he is able to have full backing from the owner, full backing from the players and full backing from the supporters. Critch definately does not take the support for granted and he knows the blackpool supporters are something special. Surely if it was about money he would have just stayed at Liverpool? Must have been on more money their coaching their boys team than anything he would get here!

Anyway he'll get a big contract after we storm to the prem next year! I do think if we did ever get to the prem then we would be in a serious situation in regards to losing him. Maybe it's therefore a good shout for us to consolidate in the championship for a couple of years first?

It's not a bad post, and you can't rule anything out in football. That said I don't think that Critch will move on in the near future. This club to him is likely to be a "Work-In-Progress".

I posted on another thread that Prem owners no longer pick managers from the Champ or lower unless they’re an ex club Legend.

The only threat to losing Critch is when we reach the Premier League under him. Then there’s a chance another club will have a sniff.

Fortunately- even with a poor run of form before new year - the owner sees talent and isn’t a full blown bedwetter like some of the posters on here.

On many occasions, NC has referred to the buzz he gets from developing young players... his desire to take players such as Charlie Kirk and reinvigorate their careers / lives.... very few clubs will allow him the freedom to do that. We had a shocking run of results before Xmas, at the clubs of higher standing than us eluded to in the OP he would of been sacked .... not here ... he knows that but he definitely isn’t complacent... you can see it in his eyes... he’s at home👍🧡

There are many career paths, managing the biggest club for a short period is not a career, although financially rewarding. I see Critch as a SAF character, spending years developing and growing players and the club, into a model all of his own. He gets something at Blackpool he will not get elsewhere, time

We have had a previous thread like this one I could well imagine NC leaving
to forfill the managers post at Liverpool at some point in the future if he were
to prove himself with us in the Premiership.

It’s losing not loosing you pleb
Im surprised at you OL, calling someone a pleb is indeed an insult. To correct a spelling should be done with grace, not an insult intimating that someone is from a lower class than yourself.

Have you ever hit a key twice in haste? Not checked a post for spelling mistakes? I have, so I'll join the ranks of the Plebs.

For those who arent aware, pleb is short for Plebeian or Plebian a reference to their birthright being of the lower class, or an unsofisticate individual.

Uncalled for in my book OTBB but please note that it's Critch and not Chritch for future reference.

Good post, with some sensible comments, I have thought similar for a while now and, as some on here said about Olly, 'He'll never leave', he did, and then look what happened.

I'm biased, but I honestly think he has the best gig in football.

He's got an owner who wants him and backs him and had put no additional pressure on him.

He makes his own decisions.

He's building something special.

And he's got a group of supporters, who bar the odd meltdown on social media, give him and his players absolute backing for the entire length of the game.

I look at him and think he must go to home, pour out a glass of milk, or something stronger, and say to himself or whoever is listening "I've got the best job in world" and he won't be far off.

Critch will stay as this is the club that believes in him, the fans love him and the owners and players do to.. NC has decades left in football management and BFC is just the start on his management journey. He will only leave and Will one day when he can't take the club any further and has stamped his legacy in tangerine stone.. we have the training ground and academy and ground development that Critch will be involved in and of course the back in the premier League.. maybe after all that he might say.... See you later it's been a blast!!

Just remember that Critch has recently signed a 4&1/2 year contract.
Doesn't that say something?
He knows as well as anyone that basically he's still learning his trade as a manager/coach.

What’s it got to do with you?

Unsophisticate - pleb. 😁
