Can't tell you how great it feels to read the interview on the Gazette website with Ben Mansford.
It's like we've come full circle. From years of nothing and silence to a 100% candid and frank honest interview about the process to appointing a new manager / head coach. It's great and refreshing to see such willingness to engage with the support after all this time.
Massive credit to BFC for the way they conduct themselves.

He's not going to admit someones turned us down or is having doubts is he? To be that candid would be stupid.

He said enough without revealing things he cannot reveal. He outlined the demands the club will make of the new manager and made it pretty clear, chapter and verse, that we should be entertaining the fans. Apart from giving you his bank details, what more did you want?

No, but his whole message is undermined by the fact that he offered Jones the job without doing any of the thorough globe searching he espoused. So wasnt he basically being dishonest?

Fair question, I'm just going off the info that's been put on social media by the likes of Matt Scrafton. So I'm not 100% sure but why would people have said such clear things about Jones going away to consider the offer etc? And wouldn't Mansford have denied it if it hadn't happened? It would have strengthened his claims to being thorough and taking his time.
