Maybe i can speak it and save, then send you a link like an audio bookI know
I know read the OPSimon Grayson was brought in by Simon Sadler. Just saying.
I think Brett has everyone's number .Thanks Insider appreciate the nice comments
I hope Mr Sadler will be reading this, I'm sure he will be from everything i know about him, maybe he can give me a call to discuss the things he doesn't agree with, we don't need any SLO to sort
His mate Brett has my number
I like Brett he was a good guy who loved the club, think the club are missing himI think Brett has everyone's number .
He shouldn't but he doesSS shouldn't need all this explaining to him after all he's a fan at heart. Surely he feels the same things we do and knows what the fan base has been through for many years. Should he really need someone like Raggy to put it into words for him ? Or Phil to write an outstanding post like this for him to get it ?
Might be a bit of a long post this as I'm sat on a train
Listening to the Seasider podcast last night got me thinking this morning, so i thought i would share some thoughts based on some of the stuff i heard and read last night on the podcast and also some of the Twitter content I've seen this week
Firstly i thought the podcast was pretty decent, to be honest i don't always listen to it as it comes across a bit dull sometimes with the same blokes saying the same things week in week out, however last night was good
The Raggy speech was fantastic and summed up some of how i feel about the goings on at our club, Andy with his marketing background also made some really good points that i agree with and i urge fans who haven't listened to it to give it a whirl, i think there were less than 200 people watching it last night so not massive numbers
In the words of that tw@t from Dragons Den this is where I'm at
Firstly I'm not anti Simon Sadler, this is something that I've been accused of recently and I'm not. I was actually pleased when he bought the club and I've been supportive and critical in equal measures i think. When he first bought the club he did what i think was right in getting rid of his first manager Grayson and bringing in a fresh faced younger coach in Critchley, it was difficult for NC in the early days and his inexperience showed and it wasn't until he changed his formation and playing style that the results improved. Simon Sadler was also instrumental in this early journey by backing NC in both transfer windows with some really good loans like Ellis Simms and some key experienced players like Kenny Dougal who had been playing at a higher level. We paid money for young hungry players like Marv, Jerry and Keshi who were all key to our promotion. Promotion was very much a joint effort between the owner, board and coach, the fans played a small part as it was mainly during covid but Oxford at home and the win at Wembley were fantastic. ALL LOOKED GOOD ........
We had a feel good factor about the place as the club went into the new Championship season on a high, we made some decent signings but mainly focusing on younger players who had been at bigger clubs, Josh Bowler being the main man and what a delight he was to watch, a couple of decent loans in Ryan Wintle and Djon Sterling but if I'm being honest looking back we were still a little short in key areas. The first half of the season was good, we had some great results and away days and it really felt like the club was aligned with fans buying in to the process, the North stand and the work done by a few individuals to get that stand rocking was something really special, it was probably the most passionate home end in the country.
Then something changed in my opinion around January time, i was a poor transfer window and we looked a bit under cooked in several positions, NC also looked like he had lost his mojo a bit, it was strange as we weren't actually that far from the play off places and the season just fizzled out, losing at PNE was one of the worst performances i can remember for a long time, bizarre post match interviews form NC and club just seemed dead with very little coming from the board or owner
NC left amid some rumours about a lack of backing from the owner and we went into the new season looking miles off, poor marketing from the club at season ticket time and a ludicrous match day price point didn't help the mood. I've also never understood why the club don't do a 12 month direct debit option like other clubs do, Andy and Raggy spoke about this last night. It was a right mess from top to bottom, poor signings, a new old manager in Appleton (who the fans were never going to get behind) and a shed full of loan players it was a cluster fuck of incompetence from top to bottom. We heard very little form the owner whilst the ship was sinking and any feel good factor from the start of the season before had gone. it was like people at the club just weren't @rsed
And so it continued
Relegation was nailed on and McCarthy was probably up there with our worst ever manager and that takes some doing when you consider idiots like Carr, Clark, Hendry and Riga
We still heard very little from the owner unless of course it was the NC welcome back interview or the telling off to fans, NC was always going to divide fans just like the MA appointment its almost like its been done on purpose
This season hasn't been much better than last season and that takes some doing, boring football, poor tactics and players played out of position, losing Yates was a blow as he was the heartbeat of the club, similarly with Dougal and this January transfer window was garbage
The club is just sleep walking again and everything we as a fanbase fought for appears to be lost, the atmosphere at games is poor and some crowds have been really low we as a club have become as dull as dishwater, you only hear from the club when they want something and all this talk of fans parliaments and charters are a complete waste of everybody's time and effort except of course for the 3 FSA people who appear to run BST and their 800 members, they love all this sort of shite
We are a unique fantastic club in the party capital of the UK and when we are all united we are hard to stop, we have a fantastic passionate support that is dwindling and this malaise needs to stop NOW, even my kids aren't that bothered about going to matches, Port Vale and Burton in a week saw to that
I want to hear from Simon Sadler, i want to know what the plan is for the future, i want to know what's happening with the stand and training ground projects, I want to know how the club is going to get back to how it was 2 and a half years ago and i want to know what is going to happen with our current manager who appears to have lost his mojo again' he either needs help or sacking as the whole club is in a steady decline.
I expected better from life long fan Simon Sadler (if some cnut thinks that makes me entitled then so be it its nonsense word used by folk with zero ambition anyway)
Lets get this club back aligned and everyone moving in the same direction it has to come from the top though
Over to you Mr Sadler
I've com to this thread rather late but yes...a decent post Mr Deux.Might be a bit of a long post this as I'm sat on a train

had the best intentions & was always trying to do what was best for the club and its fans, not himself.I like Brett he was a good guy who loved the club, think the club are missing him
Totally agree with this. I don’t think the club knows in all honesty. They’ve lost the vision and think the Brannagan failures and Bishop fiasco along with the money involved has left it completely disjointed.I honestly don't get what we're doing now. Was saying at work today - we're neither building the next generation of players nor competing.
It's just so average. A bunch of perfectly serviceable but unremarkable players, a lot of whom are in their mid/late 20s and our best two players are on loan.

Last summers window where we signed Moffat and Emmerson… this one it’s Sassi… what’s the plan? 12 months later them 2 aren’t doing anything to get close to the 1st team and the latest one is doing a Dev Squad / 1st team split. Apparently we’ve got lots of youth scouts now? Is this the plan? Because we don’t play them when they do well anyway? I’d rather play our own players than loan the likes of Coulson? Don’t get it.
I know you’re big on the Apter one and I am too, but it’s probably better because he’d be misused here and stuck on a pitch like a netball court where he can’t express himself.
Much better to just put it all on Dembele and if that doesn’t work or he’s goosed just whack CJ up (with his back to goal deeming him borderline useless) and bring on Gabriel or Lyons and take Norburn off for Virtue.
We’ve let Dale go and now have zero attacking wide options to change it… and he wasn’t great but at least it was an option.
What constitutes a fake account. Very few post under their own name. The same as Karl then. If that is true, then he needs to stop doing it, I believe he probably reads it, but fake accounts? Surely that would be too risky and paranoid.
I guess so, but a lot are very transparentWhat constitutes a fake account. Very few post under their own name.
I am actually called Mitch Td53.What constitutes a fake account. Very few post under their own name.
Dale was variety and I generally felt this year we were better with than without him. He brought a certain indefinable attitude. I agree he lacked pace and his final ball wasn't always great but he just had a certain strut that we lack massively.
The point on young players is problematic in terms of attracting young players. If we never play them, how can we demonstrate to the best prospects a pathway to the first team?
Then, how can we attract the best prospects? Especially when our training facilities are still subpar
We're competing against an industry that is hugely developed in comparison to our set up but 4 years in and no one has remotely troubled the first team for a meaningful game.
It's galling when Port Vale beat us with a 16 year old playing out of his skin and an 18 year old doing a really good job.
Good points there TD. Young players are more likely to commit to a club where they know they’ll be given a chance. At the moment it’s “Come to Blackpool, we’ll farm you out to a non league club you’ve never heard of”.
They’d certainly be a Carlsberg loungeIf Carlsberg did football clubs.... they'd stay a million miles away from Blackpool FC
Does he still regularly go to the games? It's as if he's lost his enthusiasm for the project, Sadler that is.
Maybe we miss Ben Mansford. He read the board regularly.Does SS get to see these excellent comments though ? Does he frequent this site to know what is being queried and asked for ?
The searches are absolute comedy. One thing I forgot to add in, the club have taken the piss with the new “seamless and smooth online season ticket passes”…
Entrance to the ground is now a total chore with long queues (that never happened when it was just cards) and the searches from people in hi-viz who’d struggle to spell cat and dog, asking children to empty their pockets and checking old age pensioners.
It’s a classic example of taking and not delivering and also not understanding the fanbase.
The queue to get in the ground for the Bolton cup game was a joke and we’ve got 1 stand 3/4 full. They should be trying to sort it but instead you’ve got people loving the power for someone carrying a bottle top.
I get we’ve had a couple of issues with throwing things but it’s complete overkill.
I was upstairs for the Exeter game and he was there that day , not sure about regularly.Does he still regularly go to the games?
He did last season.
What a nice post cheers for thatNice one Phil, you're a natural leader. Your passion drives responses through a kind of brand identity.
It's so easy for a guy like SS to call in a reporter / writer to give his thoughts in a 10-minute briefing and circulate to fans - every day or so.
A piece of piss - and then we'd all know the thoughts of the club leadership.
People have criticised me before for wanting to know what's happening.
A club is more than going to a game, it has a life that we all have a stake in.
Ensure fans are briefed, and in the main, they'll stay onside, because everyone's invested and pulling together ... And not trying to rip the club apart.
Keep them in the dark, drop shit on them regularly - they become resentful mushrooms.
Keep going Phil - you're the catalyst.
This could be one of those 'Tangerine Dreams' promotions the club is doing atm.SS needs an honest fan mate.
There’s a few missing mate……hopefully they take on board what Phil and the rest of us passionate fans want, a club to be proud of instead of constantly being told we’re entitled for wanting betterGreat O/P and has hit the nail on head.
I could tell even from Brazil that there’s been something not right about the club for a couple of years.
There is a particular poster who is conspicuous by his absence from this thread that I have long suspected could indeed be SS.
The Luker?Great O/P and has hit the nail on head.

Seems to have goneThe Luker?
He once said it was after his favourite darts player but it could well have another cryptic connotation. So funny I thought the Luker was Karl. Birds of a feather? Couldn’t figure out what is the significance of Luker.
If it was, which I don't think it is, then we are in a lot more trouble than we thought. Some of his messages to me have been reported and removed because of the outrageous statements he has made on here to some supporters including myself. I don't believe for a minute it's SS, that would be madness but it is what I said earlier, the rumour mill will get out of hand and loads of Conspiracy theories will become gospel on here and that is only going to lead to one thing. Why are we starting to unravel again?Seems to have gone
I’ve just read through all his posts… quite enlightening when you see them all together..He once it was after his favourite darts player
If the weasel was indeed SS then they way he spoke to people on here means the club is in a dark dark place.
And what was your conclusion?I’ve just read through all his posts… quite enlightening when you see them all together..
