THE FULL 90 I BLACKPOOL VS HIBERNIAN.

Just watched the first 45 and I would be a little worried if that 11 is announced at 2 pm this Saturday.
NC talked about players fitting in and seamlessly being able to change personnel and carry on like nothing had happened.
I would like to think yesterday was another exercise and will watch the 2 nd half a bit later.
 
Wasn’t bad, you can see we’re well drilled and organised and plenty of decent moments in the game. 3 great balls in for the goals too.

It will take time to be fully firing but it’s been a decent pre-season 🍊
 
More minutes in the legs and new players gelling time. I’m not reading much more into it than that atm.

On the starting 11… I haven’t a clue how we will line up… Watch us sign a striker on the Friday evening before the Burton game so he won’t be elligible!

I keep thinking about how decent strikers cost money… so kid on loan it might have to be?
 
That's the 2nd half done and a few of the players that came on looked very comfortable on the ball and Tom Trybull looks real quality plus Rob Apter must be in and around the squad.

Overall it was quite comfy and thank heavens Marvin is back to his best it seems.

In his post match presser Critchley says that the first 45 was "alright." In other words, not good enough.

The inverted wing-backs looked interesting and their was a definite tactic of when they were receiving the ball, with back to goal and defender breathing down their neck, to play the ball round the corner and in-field to one of the forwards. Lot easier to play if the wingers are inverted.

Trybull has to start but with who looks like our new captain Norbain will he?
 
First half was just okay, but second half we were much better, really knocking the ball around nicely and looking composed. I thought the midfield of Trybull, the trialislt Stokie lad and Kenny were better that Norburn, Carey & Morgan and I also thought Apter oozes class. Tough choice, but for me next weeks side would be, if we don't get anyone new"

I was pleasantly surprised the way we played. After last season where we couldn’t string 3 passes together, today we played a solid passing game, knocking it around nicely and took the goals well
 
Burton’s shop window had best move a few dummies out of the way as I’ll be showing my arse if Beesley starts.

CJ was more or less back to his old self vs Hibs after an impressive half prior to that, so he wouldn't get near my starting 11 again.
We looked far better in his position after he left the pitch and if he is going to be involved it should be from the bench if there is a chance his pace would work.
