Seems Kevin Stewart is a busy boy when he's not getting himself injured...
Who would think that a bloke who has a short career would invest his money to prepare himself and his family for the future…..
The dislike for Kevin Stewart, a Blackpool FC player, over a few threads on here this week has been a bit uncomfortable to read at times.
Not specifically in yours, apologies of you thought I was aiming it at you.Where was the dislike mentioned?
Fair play to the guy
I’d have no issue with him doing this if he actually did his day job. I don’t believe for one minute he’s as injury prone as what he has been this season. It’s also convenient how his injuries always coincide with trips to Birmingham/Dubai and other places, where he looks at properties. I believe his love for football has gone and we should get rid. He’s fleecing our club of probably 3/4K a week and not playing a game.Who would think that a bloke who has a short career would invest his money to prepare himself and his family for the future…..

You’re obviously more aware of his future itinerary than the rest of us. Please tell us where he’s heading off to purchase properties after his inevitably faked injury whilst playing for Jamaica.I’d have no issue with him doing this if he actually did his day job. A big call that and he did have injuries before he came so it's not as if the club didn't know it already. I think Ian Holloway was after Leicester defender Patrick Kisnorbo when he arrived and didn't sign him because of his injury record, but somebody did (might have been Leeds or Norwich) and they were promoted. He’s fleecing our club of probably 3/4K a week and not playing a game.
Follow any of his social media’s - You’ll soon be well aware of his future endeavours. It’s not rocket science. You’re obviously more aware of his future itinerary than the rest of us. There's a huge teacher shortage in all sectors. Plenty of opportunities for others to claim their inflation busting gold plated pensions and ride the gravy train.A big call that and he did have injuries before he came so it's not as if the club didn't know it already. Always worth remembering of course that not everyone gets an inflation busting pension after highly paid jobs in the public sector, which predominantly falls to a lucky few in the civil service and teaching. No chances of stress related physical injuries in those occupations.
Yes indeed. Some teachers I know are a bit shortage but they make up for it other ways. There's a huge teacher shortage in all sectors. Plenty of opportunities for others to claim their inflation busting gold plated pensions and ride the gravy train.
Just saying loike.
you know fuck all, you’re a Middlesbore fanI know where is interests are and its not football
If he has a company generating that much money surely his focus is what makes him money it wont be a football club at is level
Nothing wrong with players having a business outside of football but come on where do you draw the line at piss takers
Injury prone crocks who can spend time in there real job
You’re wrong. He likes football.I’d have no issue with him doing this if he actually did his day job. I don’t believe for one minute he’s as injury prone as what he has been this season. He likes the money football pays, to fund his building aspirations. He doesn’t like actually playing it.You’re wrong. He likes football.
And, do you have any proof for the claims you are making or are you happily waiting for the solicitor's letter to arrive?I’d have no issue with him doing this if he actually did his day job. Jamaica lost against Mexico so another 2 games to go, he may return for middle of Feb but play again for Jamaice for 3 matches at the end of March.I have no problem with players having an outside interest in business, after all its a short career. What I'm not keen on is Stewart pissing off to play for Jamaica when he's hardly lifted a leg for us for months. Surely he could of shown us a bit more commitment. And there lies the potential problem, COMMITMENT. People will always question a players commitment to the game.
Was he in the squad against Mexico, or more to the point, did he get any game time?Jamaica lost against Mexico so another 2 games to go, he may return for middle of Feb but play again for Jamaice for 3 matches at the end of March.
I think maybe leave a space in squad for our returning injured players and Stewart to fight it out, so at this point a decision needs making is he named in the squad.
This is not having a go at Stewart who has every right to play for his country, but doing what is best for Blackpool fc
Never got on the pitch. Was he in the squad against Mexico, or more to the point, did he get any game time?

There's an implicit accusation that he's putting more effort into business than getting fit.Who would think that a bloke who has a short career would invest his money to prepare himself and his family for the future…..

Based on the assumption he’s pretending to be injured, which is total bollocks. Just like the Madine conspiracy last season. Just like the people who claimed Lubala was pretending to have mental health issues. Miserable, boring bollock-merchants the lot of ya.He likes the money football pays, to fund his building aspirations. He doesn’t like actually playing it.
His appearance record is perfectly fine.He likes the money football pays, to fund his building aspirations. He doesn’t like actually playing it.
Is he injured yet?? Maybe tripped over his portfolio??65th minute sub v Panama just now. Believe it’s his first cap.
And that's the truth, *if we get Stewart and Dougall fit, where would Brannagan fit?Is he injured yet?? Maybe tripped over his portfolio??
Good to see him on the pitch, a good 25 minutes will be a good start on his old back to our first team. Brannigan's not fit to lace his boots.
