The Lycra boys

All cyclists should be stopped and fined if they’re a mile away from their home. I delivered in South Cumbria yesterday and there was literally hundreds of the fcukers on the back roads 😡😡😡

They should just be taken off to a dark deserted place and made to disappear. Weird feckers!!

All Independent pet food suppliers should be stopped and fined if they’re too far away from their home. I was quietly cycling round South Cumbria yesterday and this madman in a van from Lancashire was driving like a lunatic on the back roads 😡😡😡.

😂 😜🤣

I love all the jealousy of cyclists from the car / van drivers on here
Annual deaths on the road from cycling < 10, annual deaths from motor vehicles >3000
Cyclists are generally healthy, paying NI for and leaving the hospitals free for the literally millions of obese and unhealthy car drivers that there are
And of course, each motor vehicle does a little bit to destroy the climate of our our planet by burning fossil fuels whereas cycling is a sustainable form of transport that is carbon neutral.
In current times it is a far safer way of exercising than walking or running because it is much easier to stay away from other people on a bike than it is on the pavement.
Roads currently empty, it is a great way to exercise.

...red contorted face, sweating profusely, breathing heavily, bent over with another man’s identical face within inches of their own Lycra clad posterior..... with occasional moaning and/ or grunting... guess it’s each to their own😳......😁

Too many cyclists on the pavements at the moment I'm afraid which is weird as there are less cars on the roads too avoid! Plus, they love whizzing past your shoulder when you're jogging! A minority but still....

I deliver around Rural Fylde twice a week and there’s plenty of groups of cyclists who are clearly not from the same household down the country lanes. I’m not sure why they think they’re exempt from the social distancing and lockdown rules.

Roads seem much safer at the moment apart from the few drivers who are using the lock down to speed dangerously around the empty roads - a minority but still ....
However generally drivers seem more patient and friendly atm.
Agree that cyclists should stay off the pavements, not sure why some do that, I do try to be considerate and keep well away from pedestrians, as I said it is actually much easier to observer the social distancing on a bike than when walking or running.

I'm only jogging or walking at the moment. No driving from me....so 😁

It is the lycra/sunglasses that do it.
OP is right in that there's loads of groups of these lookalikes, especially on Queens Prom, all huddled together, acting superior & generally going to fast with pedestrians, kids, dogs in close proximity.
Then they all return to the same house...right.

This comment I agree with, the rest are total bollocks, if you cant ride on the road you shouldn't be out on a bike.

Doing daily sessions of either Olympic lifting or bodyweight Hiit sessions. I cycle twice a week too as a cardio session but only on my own or with the wife.
It disappoints to read that people are ignoring advice and Peleton riding.
Normally I agree it’s good to get middle age tubbies onto their bikes and raise their health standards but right now just think a little before you act. Stop being selfish

Gimp suits or not, they should ride on road in single file...and not block up country roads riding in packs thinking there on the Tour de France.. 😀 tbf most abide by the rules....

Still plenty of dog shite on the prom . 😡
Very true that. More if anything than before the lockdown! The weird ones are the people who actually pick it up, put it in the black bag, but then chuck it. What's the point?

Anyone over the age of 30 shouldn't be sold lycra. Simple.

That being said ... give me a few cyclists over dogs shitting all over the pavement and them off the lead hassling people any day.

Deary you should have been with us then yesterday cycling round South Cumbria. There were 500 of us from the FY4 Cycling Club all clad to fcuk in the tightest fitting tangerine lycra, l had to laugh the tall skinny ones looked like right Bobby's helmets🤣🤣. Anyway there we were cycling down the lane towards Cartmel at 5 a breast when this inconsiderate driver in a white van came up behind sounding his horn in long bursts, l have to say he looked a tad irate and l noticed the wording 'Dog Food' on the side of his van. At first l thought it was 'dog food Dave' with his red face but at a 2nd glance l noticed it was that other well known multi millionaire in the same line of business who posts on here! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Don't have a problem with cyclists as a rule because they generally cycle on the road and keep their distance (in my experience anyway).
I think the pavement cyclists are people who haven't been on a bike for a while and are using the 1 hour exercise rule to get out on their bikes for the first time in years.

Several times me and Mrs Dave have been walking the dog (on the lead), only for "new" cyclists to cycle between us whilst texting FFS.
Another occasion on Clifton Drive (sand dunes) two cycled past us on the pavement - there's a cycle lane there!!
After almost colliding with me, one said to the other "do you think we should be on the road dear"

It's OK though. I had two black poop bags, so I placed them on the pavement to deter them from doing it again 👍

Sorry Bayern i didnt know so went solo, next time 😂👍 you would think mosser would have been Pleased to see so many tangerine clad fellow FY4ers? I find his attitude very disappointing tbh.

Happy mosser is doing well but didnt realise he had quite yet attained the wealth status of local football club chairman. Thinking of getting into pet supplies as its obviously serious corn 👍

I like the guy but still think questions need to be asked.
I mean Is the delivery of scmackos across county lines really essential travel?
