The main beneficiaries of a global pandemic..........Dogs

Dogs must have ABSOLUTELY loved the last year. They have had company all day and excessive walking.

Not just my own little dog but you see them all over the place being walked at all times of the day absolutely loving it. Yakking to each other at how great the pandemic is!

Good point that Mac, I know of people who have actually bought Dogs because of the Pandemic as a reason to get out of the house to exercise.
Let’s hope unlike Christmas they become a pet for life.

Dog prices have gone crazy, woman we got ours off upped her prices to £2.5k for a Labrador.
Same with camper vans, people adding 5-6k on prices as most will holiday in England this year

Due to the price increase, a lot of dognappings have happened where dogs have even been snatched off their owners when out walking them. Big black market at the moment as criminals know the punishments are less than drugs and guns but the profits are becoming similar.

I went with the dog and camper plan at considerably more cost than it would have been. I don't regret it at all, my pup has really lifted our spirits as has the planning of our holidays in Devon, Cornwall and Scotland later this year.

You say this, but you're overlooking how chuffed cats are at having the heating on all day and thus being able to sleep in the airing cupboard even more than normal.

Prices have gone through the roof apparently. Plus dognapping on the rise to meet that market.
