The new education under secretary

I just hope none of the present Government fart in the Commons as there will be hell on, lynch parties outside the Commons, female Labour politicians with knitting needles awaiting the executioner. For goodness sake, the ones who are scraping the barrel are those so perfect supporters of the left who have no faults of their own. Unbelievable.

If we had a Prime Minister that even understood what morals are, she would not need to resign.
The parliamentary conservative party should elect the best candidate this week and the new PM take over next week. If they can decisively back one candidate there is no need to go to the party membership.

Leadership is required, rather than ruining the country with the reserve team.
The cast of minions can then ride off into obscurity for the rest of their political careers, however short it may be.

I think I'm more bothered about the fact she knowingly received £25K for a job that didn't exist and was complicit (2 to tango etc) in ending a marriage by embarking on an affair with a married man with 3 kids. Can't wait to teach that in my Page lessons and then give the kids the middle finger when they misbehave.
For me the fact that her most notable achievments have been falling off a chair, and being called a stupid woman by philip hammond,

It seems the ladies are showing themselves up, calling the prime minister scum and giving a finger to people hurling abuse.

Last I heard, free speech was still allowed in this country. This bunch of Tory toe rags deserve all the abuse that can be thrown at them!
As a newly promoted minister in the EDUCATION Department, what a great example she is setting!

You should be ok as I can give you a precedent. When my son and daughter were at upper school, it was the time when Margaret Thatcher was PM. The day she resigned, I was told two of the teachers were going around the classrooms whooping and dancing in the corridors to spread the news. Although it was extremely unprofessional I was told by a governor that no action was taken against them.

Hard to believe that.

Remember "Thatcher, Thatcher the milk snatcher" ?

Why are all those mentalist lefties shouting abuse at her ? Has she done something wrong already 😆 you lot are mad.
Having morals and ethics does not make you a lefty. Indeed historically this was probably the domain of the Tory party. Obviously if you think the story party is too left then that’s a different matter.

It's perfectly true and , yes, I found it hard to believe when my kids told me, but it was confirmed by other parents whose children were at the school.

It can be both funny and wrong.

All those getting hot and bothered about it are more than happy with calling the Tories scum etc; basic hypocrites.

But she shouldn't have done it - she should have just ignored them and carried on improving education for more of our children.

She hasn't got the brain power to tie her shoe laces. A country of 68m and Andrea Jenkyns sits in the cabinet, it's just a hunch but it seems the bloke at the top wanted to surround himself with sycophants with low intelligence.

I'm sorry for not answering this sooner SP, but you please yourself what you do and do not believe, but I can assure you this did happen. If you want the name of one of the teachers it was a Mr Nake, known by the kids as SSSSSnake. So please don't shut your mind to the truth, it belittles yor intelijuns.

The incident that you are describing happened (or didn't) 32 years ago. It is irrelevant in modern times. Mr Snake has, in all likelihood, retired now so would not have been dancing in the corridor when Johnson was sacked by his own party. In any case two wrongs don't make a right, are you trying to use Mr Snakes dancing to justify what Jenkins did?
So I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. Clearly a government minister shouldn't behave like Jenkins did. What she did is trivial in one sense, but it also clearly demonstrates that she is not suitable for government office. As I said in the original post, we are certainly scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

She is an education minister.
What do you think would happen, for instance, to a head teacher who did this to parents outside a school?
I've a fair idea what would happen - bringing the job/ school into disrepute, not being fit to lead by example etc etc. If that's how she reacts to a 'baying mob', I think it shows she can't hack it, and actually what she thinks of the population who disagree with her and her government's attitudes and policies. Very poor showing, we really are scraping the barrel for politicians in this country right now - unfortunately the job won't be touched by anyone with any moral fibre to their being.

You obviously haven't read all the posts, my answer, originally was to SSP. Giving him a precedent for teaching his pupils Pshe lessons and giving them a middle finger. So whether it be 32 years ago or 132 years ago it is a precedent. Please read the full thread before assuming you know what I was posting about.
