Speaking as an incurable romantic, and this being Valentines weekend so to speak, where did you meet your partner and what was ‘your’ record at the time? Myself and Lady Levi were introduced by mutual chums at the Highfield Pub, June 30th 1974,and our tune was ‘My Girl’ Otis Redding. So don’t be shy what’s your story? Everybody needs somebody to lurrrvve!
 
The underground in magaluf and our song was/is 74/75 by the Connels. She is a northumbrian and I travelled up there for a year after. She then moved here. Love if mg iufe. Well second to the mighty😁
 
Knew Mrs Wizzerboy at school, she wanted nothing to do with me then😔
Then one night at the Calypso (Older posters will know where that is)we just clicked.
We were married 6 weeks short of my 21st birthday and have just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary ( Sept last year)
Our tune is Souvenir OMD

Gareth, 2 things in common there,had a bar in Magalluf early 80’s and my Mrs is a Geordie!👍
 
My dad knew her dad, she came knocking in 1990, the rest is history.

l must have been in the Highfield that night Al it was my 16th birthday 🎂 🍻
 
I’ve known my Mrs since junior school, but our first date was on the 7th February 1986 7:30 pm outside Yates’s Wine Lodge , been married 32 years in May .
 
Met my good lady while we were both young and working at the Claremont hotel in 1982....38 years later and still im still doing as im told 😇
 
We met in The Hole In The Wall, a pub that some of you know passingly well. We were both regulars in there for years, but drank in different bars and never actually met until we were introduced by a mutual friend.

We do have a song of sorts, not that it is especially significant. It has more to do with my ability to do an impression of Johnny 5 from the film Short Circuit. 😛
