The Pens and the Takers

Intrigued by last night's selection and order.
For a start, I was surprised that Connolly was second although delivered a decent pen.
I wonder why Dembele and Kouassi were so far down the list
Didn't have Norburn down for the first Five and was surprised how weak Gabriel's pen was.

All academic now but my five would have been:

Dembele
Kouassi
CJ
Virtue
Lyons

According to Critch the players decided who was taking the pens and in what order as apparently you don’t have to give a list to the ref of the pen takers and in which order anymore, didn’t know that

The pens were awful. We were fortunute to go through. Only Kouassi's (credit to him) looked like a penalty with conviction. Doesn't matter though, we won.
