The price is right - Forest replay

Added bonus of income via the replay which might possibly make TV and a decent touch from the attendance today £££ that should secure Gary Madine’s wages till the end of the season ☺️

Be good to get the ground rocking for a big cup game and we might even be able to have away fans within 250 yards of the North Stand.

Match the price of today, simple as.

£15 and £5 concession, be stupid not to regardless of their away support.

Excellent performance today, 40 million pound player in their team and more, but we did very well. Great to see someone flying in like Gabriel with solid challenges and Morgan getting better each game. Joseph looked up for it when he came on just can’t believe he didn’t swivel and shoot late on.

Nice to see some fight and time to kick on 2021 style 💪🏽🧡

I think games like today teach our younger players a lot. I’m proud of the team today, was certainly a nervous watch but we deserved the draw against a tough premiership side.

Yep, £15 would be pretty good value for what should be an entertaining game against a high spending PL team
Hopefully they'll get (and mostly / completely fill) the East stand.
And a half decent chance of progressing as well - free hit like last season

27,909 at Forest today, so over the two games we're generating circa £250-300k?

@Brett&Murphs. - I think replays are w/c 15 Jan

I'll be there but unlike the majority of Avftt posters who like to talk the talk then offer fuck all to the clubs coffers.

Then they'll blatantly lie they purchase TTV when they've watched todays game as if.😂

There should be a Firestick supporters section to be fair, they could meet via zoom save them leaving the house & submit their points and upset at a lack of spending from the club to the SLO for fans forums via e-mail just so they don’t have to socially interact with anyone in person and waste any money on petrol or bus fares.

They could also raise their concerns about the atmosphere saying how flat it is and slagging off the North stand whilst never attending a home game and having an FY postcode.

Only issue I see is their committee being formed as they’ll all think they should be on it and out of about 500 people it could get a bit hectic. I’m thinking that Parish Council one Jackie Weaver esque.

would love to be there but age and a120 mile round trip at night is just a journey too far for me these days.
Did it for the best part of 40 years but simply too much these days…and like today I don’t have a dodgy internet link…daft as it sounds if I can I prefer to pay my £10 if it is available as hopefully some of it will go to the club who have been part of my life for well over 60 years.

Don’t blame you at all, I drove to Scotland straight after Cardiff at home last season for Easter weekend and thought what a slog this must be for those that do it for home games… and that was one way after a game.

Nothing but respect for exiles who get to games.

It’s the FY Firestick crew that don’t go any home games my dig was at 💪🏽 usually the most negative as well which is ironic.

From ticket money alone I would think, plus merchandise food and drink at home, plus money for making 3rd round plus hopefully tv money. Win it the two legs will be circa 500k

What's the situation with buying away passes, I presumed that money or part went to our club?

Although during covid it went to the away side up to the agreed away capacity and any after that the away club I think. But surely that was different.

Am I right in saying that ticketing prices have to be agreed before the game for cup pricing? i.e. will they already have agreed a reciprocal £15 season ticket price if the 1st game had that structure?

I do my best as some on here will know to do the Saturday home games these days and have done all but two.I had a ticket for Carlisle but decided with that weather forecast which turned out correct that it was a journey too much and I had already decided the Bristol Rovers game was too close to Xmas and our 48th wedding anniversary on ( true) Xmas Eve and a very understanding wife who has let me do these journeys for so long who I wanted to share the full day with.

How much does the East Stand hold?

A good draw in the 4th round would help
Are Reading still in? It'll be them away or something similar...

But about time we had some luck, although we're not actually through, so we'll probably get a glamour tie and lose.

4,576 but this depends on police etc

Edit, sorry just seen @Towerpower99 response
Fair enough. We've had a lot of ticket issues in the last few seasons. There's a membership scheme that is basically a cash cow that makes it pretty difficult to obtain away tickets.

At home we have a capacity of just under 30k but have 24k season ticket holders and 3k away fans so there's a mad scramble for every game for single-match tickets.

I'd have thought we'd sell out that if that's what we're given, particularly if it's a similar pricing to today. A lot of Forest fans just never get a chance to see us these days.

You probably need a matching stand to the other side in place of that older one.

If you want a lift I could pick you up from the A34 at Cheadle.

Wherr about are you based 51?

If the draws decent to us and Forest, say a Liverpool,Spurs,City or United at home we should be looking to fill the ground for the replay with the incentive that you get first dibs on a 4th round ticket if we win.

No idea why people say dodgy internet link. It’s an illegal stream. Don’t be shy. You are supporting criminals.

I understand Bleach, as I have a similar journey but slightly longer, approx 150 miles there and back.

I don't have a firestick and use TTV, when it works and when games are available, can't get Radio Lancs and do know of one or two older, infirmed fans who can no longer make the trip who have resorted to the sticks.

I could have gone on the YS Bus yesterday, but it was my wife's night out and like Bleach's wife she is a diamond who allows me a fairly long lead which i fully appreciate. So my match day was sitting in front of my computer watching BBC Sport for scores , which is always way behind the game and watching the comments , good and bad, on this site. I saw the highlights on BBC last night, two great goals from the Pool and two good goals from Forest. The ref sounded like a dick and the figures showing number of yellows compared to fouls.

If you have a bet 365 account alot of fa Cup games have been shown live on there...... The pool game was on yesterday aswell as numerous others

If the game's on Radio Lancs free view channel can you still not get it?

Thanks for the offer Bollieboy…..much appreciated but will have to decline on this Occassion.
I hope to do Saturday‘s game and if not, unless we beat Forest which of course I hope we do,the Charlton one .Having to pick and choose these days.

At least I can watch it on the TV with a glass of wine or two now.

out of curiosity do you live in Bollington,if so isn’t easier to take the new Poyton bypass onto the airport link to join the motorway giving you a different option to the 34.

For me it is the Old A34 from Cheadle Royal to the m60 ….my drive is 60 miles exactly from my house ( Cheadle Hulme near Bramhall Park Golf club) to park up near the Bloomfield Pub.Would be happy to give you a lift one day ( Saturdays 😉) if you need it but I do set off early to get my parking spot so usually leave around 11 in the morning.

Anyway once again the offer is much appreciated.

Yep Bleach, I am in Bollington. The new bypass knocks 5 minutes off the journey for me - swings and roundabouts timewise, depending upon traffic, whether to do A34 or continue to the airport.

I usually don't leave until closer to one for Saturday games.

Guarantee one thing if we get through and face West Ham, the robbing bar stewards there won't be offering £15 tickets!
