SADLY in another sport a young man lost his life. ADAM JOHNSON played ice hockey for the Nottingham Panthers. a freak accident saw him colliding with a player from the opposing side. whos blade sliced Adams neck. Everthing possible was done but he sadly he did not survive. Of course he was a professional doing it because he loved the game and had played in the hockey leagues in the USA. We worry when a football player goes down with a concussion or bone crunching tackle. or boxing but that is self inflicted. every time i see a horse take a fall and a jockey is trampled underfoot i think NEVER would i take any sort of risk like that. its a sad fact that any sort of sporting death is horrific especially being witnessed at the stadia or by millions on tv.
