There’s been much discussion upon the subject of Russian propaganda and very little in the way of their anti-war actions. Yes, we all know why. A very brave woman was on Russian tv this morning, dancing behind the newscaster with a “Stop the war” poster.
Do the Russian people know about iptv? Could they be using it for a truer perspective? Or are Putin’s pals better at ‘blocking it’ than in Western Europe?
We had a ‘pool fan, married to a Russian and living/working in Moscow posting on here (sorry forgotten his username). Understandable that he is not posting now?
What chance now of a ceasefire?
 
I'm just glad our media are so reliable and trustworthy, can't imagine what it must be like to have to listen to one sided propaganda.
 
There was a Russian activist on the news this morning (in hiding of course), who said that most Russians do know about and use IPTV especially now that nearly all social media access has been blocked!
 
I was reading something the other day that said Russia is looking at cutting off from the internet and replacing with their own internal 'internet'. Not sure how that would work and there would still be ways to get outside information into any new system.

That’ll be me, mate. We have arrived safely in Blackpool. Staying at my mums. Heartbroken. It’s been a hell of a couple of weeks.

Wow. Very, very pleased for you, in the context of being safe. I’m sorry for the ‘hand’ life has dealt you and after a few days to catch your breath, I hope that you and your wife can plan and move forward.

Cheers for the support Stony Hill, we will be ok I’m sure just need time get our heads round it all. Hopefully things get better as we’ve family and friends left behind who aren’t as fortunate as we are to have the opportunity to get out.

Out of interest, how did you manage to get back with all flights banned? Mega long road trip or via another country?
