The tricky third game ....

Their manager “Blackpool will be tough but as we’ve said all season we won’t fear anyone. It will be a tough challenge but we will try and rise to it.”

Most will be tricky as recent results in the league have proved. It is league one football as well, not the best standard in the world. Lets hope our players can find a bit of consistency.
Lets not get on the players and managers back if we lose or draw.

It would be very disappointing not to take 6 points and a cup win in the next 3 games.

I know these games aren't easy but on current form we should be disappointed not to win all 3 games.

We will win all 3 IMO.
Agree with the sentiment, but I think Barnsley in the cup will be the third game? I presume you meant the Carlisle game?

Great opportunity to make progress next 2 league games as there are a lot of games between the rest of the top 8 in those fixtures. Bolton have both Oxford and Portsmouth in those games and Oxford play Peterboro away in their other game. Pompey also play one of their games in hand next Saturday.

Matty Virtue might be on his way back too. He gives coverage for Kenny and Carey, plus I bet he could do ok as a utility player if required.

I've been watching Blackpool long enough to know that nothing is a given, we can often follow a fantastic victory with a clusterfuck when expectations rise.

I hope that Critchley has found the magic formula and sticks to it, fingers crossed we can go again

On current form we'd win every game left this season (perhaps not the FA Cup quarter final), but we all know that's not going to happen. There will have to be changes for Tuesday, too much to expect the same XI to start three times in 11 days, but as has been said we've got good backup available. Bishop might well start and maybe minutes for some others mentioned in post #11.

We'll win on Tuesday night if we go at them.

I'd try and keep most if the starting xi from yesterday, but I'd rest Rhodes for the next two and give Joseph a start.

We can give some players a rest on Saturday when we can make wholesale changes for the Cup match.
