The trouble with Trybull

It could be a long trek, but he might become a star. Probably not captain material though, I'd give it to Kirk.

Please God, don’t be this seasons Kevin Stewart.

For the sake of clarity - I am not doubting that Kev is injured and wants to play- I am referring to a player who is contracted, earning a decent wage, but can’t play.

If the rumours are true, I hope we sell for a decent amount and reinvest.

This is what he said having signed what is in essence a 2+1/2yr contract:
Tom Trybull said:

“I’m very happy to have signed for Blackpool. I’m happy to be back (in England) and I’m looking forward to the upcoming weeks, months and challenges, which are very exciting. I want to help the team and the Club to achieve the goals for the rest of the season and play a big part. I’m looking forward to getting started.”

I'd be nigh on 99% certain that the situation isn't as cut and dried as made out by posters.

A lot of 2 + 2 = 5 going on.

Though I did hear a rumour that he had NC by the throat at SG and hung him from a shower head. Trust me that's more believable than the bollux spouted. based on nothing.

If there is someone who wants to take him off our hands (which there won’t be because he’s injury prone) let him go, but if he’s still here on September first he should at worst be a substitute to bring on for Norburn late in games or if he has a yellow.

Are you ok founts? 😆

I recognise Ansdell madness. 😉

He comes across as someone who is his own biggest fan. Without justification given the fact you actually have to be fit for duty for your ability to count for anything. If he wants out surely he should be made to buy out his own contract?

Well Critch's interview now with Radio Lancs was basically a bit of a F you Tom. He wants to leave but he'll only go if someone wants him. And he said he can only play 11 players. Sounds like Trumbull has had a hissy after not being selected.

He does it in Germany too. Doesnt discriminate.

On 26 August 2021, Trybull terminated his contract in Norwich; one day later, he signed a one-year contract with an option for another year at Hannover 96.

His contract in Hannover was terminated on 30 January 2022; he joined SV Sandhausen one day later.

In January 2023, having agreed the termination of his contract with SV Sandhausen, Trybull moved to EFL Championship side Blackpool.

How is he coming across as anything when he hasnt spoken?
I am indeed reading between the lines. Hope I'm wrong but it is in his gift to come out and say something positive. Instead - silence. Doesn't that make you think all is not well, and perish the thought, he might just be another player in a long line of such players who is agitating for a move despite giving the club nothing in return for his pay last year?

In fact, based on his contract history he's starting to remind me of the leper who sold Steve McQueen the canoe in Papillion 🤨 🤣

He seems to want to go but I'm not sure you should judge without all the info/his reasons. He may be complete freeloading **. He may not.

This is Critch's first mis-step the obvious mismanagement of Trybull and possibley Lyons as well. Our manager is none the worse for watching.

Correct me if i’m wrong but apart from pre season he’s played 3 competitive games since January ….🤷‍♂️…i’m sure there’s loads of clubs after him….🤦‍♂️

The Trybull situation will probably be down to wages if he isn't playing in the first team in league one then he may not be earning as much as
he has previously. He is over 30 now and obviously, he has a limited time left in his football career to earn decent money.

Some bollucks on this page. Trybull got injured, he's now fit played well against Hibs consensus was he should be in the team. Not picked but should play tomorrow in shop window. A very good player at this level. The vultures are gathering. Usual standard on Avftt.

I think it's a shame he's asked to leave but as others have pointed out this seems to be his normal behaviour.

Thinking back to Critch's interview he talked about Tom's "agent". Which makes me think there is a bit of an Anelka job going on where he will turn up briefly to the highest bidder. Sad. Plus the fact he's never fit. Best get rid asap.
