It’s a football club, just pick a good manager.

They must be clueless & got paid a wad for recommending NC as the best option.
We were blessed historically with having the wise Sir Jimmy performing the role & sadly his huge loss was never replaced.
As an aside, the player recruitment team aren't much better either. Do they not look oversea any more? We had great success in the past when fishing in that pond.

Yep, well I agree about needing twats in the side, the team is too soft, Critchley needs a knobhead as number 2 as well.

He needed a knobhead No 2 from the day before he was hired first time. It didn't need a genius to realise this, ffs even Oyscum got Parkes in for Grayson.

Now, what I can't understand is that they rectified that- twice- with CC and SMcC and yet this time they hired him and let him hire his 2 buddies instead of using that money to pay for a No 2.

The facts that under the Oystons we were the most rotten club in the league.The owners were characterised by greed,contempt for the support and corruption .

Sadler has changed that culture and must be given credit for that .
To question his appointments using reasoned arguments is not a problem with me .

Yeah things will never be as bad as when Oyston was stripping the club but when you look at he state of the last 2 and a half seasons you can see why people are concerned

Selling our best players and replacing them with loans was very much an Oyston policy

I never wanted him back but I’ve refrained from really slagging him off as I wanted him to be a success. Now most people are seeing he’s self centred, demoralising snake,
I’ve watched far worse Blackpool sides and had far worse owners but I’ve never felt so down about what I see every week and the fact there is no light at the end of the tunnel as Sad sack won’t get rid of him and admit it was a lazy, poor and totally uninspiring appointment!

I think most of us have watched worse Blackpool sides, but never without the fight and passion lacking with this one.

Yep the players mirror the manager

Any player with a bit of attitude or a bit of devilment about them have been shipped out sold or not given a chance

Apter, Dale, Yates, Madine, Dougall etc etc

Even Thompson showed a bit of aggression at times

Marvin not playing yesterday was criminal, he's still our best defender but is under used

I’ve been thinking this recently too. There’s just no leadership. We lost some big characters and haven’t replaced them. Thought someone like Norburn would be like this but I remember recently him and Lyon’s went for a ball in a game, and because neither of them shouted for it, they clattered into each other and the opposition won the ball when they never should have had it.

Always used to think the ‘sign a certain type of player’ was a good thing, as it was building a culture, but in reality you need a mix. We don’t have any players willing to shout or command the others, or give them a kick up the backside. The only one I’ve seen doing this is Dembele weirdly enough.

Yep bang on it was the same first time around Critchley started the season with players like Demi Mitchell, Michael Nottingham and Ethan Robson teams just ran through us we didn't have a spine until Madine and Dougall came into the team
