Just watched the 'highlights' again and can't believe the space we let their player run into, nor the fact that we had 7 players all the wrong side of him, it was like watching school boy football. Not to mention the player over that was also free. It wasn't even clever play from the lad who laid it off to him, just our players not getting a foot in. blackpool pic.jpg
 
Patino can't really play in that central role. He has the touch and the vision but not the physicality. I'd expect to see Bridcutt and Dougall there from now on.

Look at Theo's 'not my problem' stance.

Dougall was a by-stander at the start of that too, just let the player go.

I haven't watched it back so can't remember how it played out but Dougall was nominally playing on the left side of midfield at that point and the attack initially came down our right (so Wright and Corbeanau to get involved). Dougall in that position would explain why there's a massive gap.
