I think she toddled around the local village near Balmoral (Ballater is it?) without any hassle, and went into the shops occasionally. And I bet she did ring up a flunky to get something sorted if she didn't like it...go into a shop and buy something...ring somewhere to complain/query... use a cash machine

And a police sergeant; presumably to keep an eye on the Guards Officers.Probably to be free to wander about without any worries or security guards. Yes I seem to remember she & her sister sneaking out to join the celebrations after WW2. Or have I dreamt that one.
