That performance today was as good as it gets. From the off we controlled the game and bar for a 15 or so minute spell 1st half continued to dominate at a team unbeaten in 28 in the league and top of the table.
Hats off to our Head Coach who went with the same midfield as last week. Granted he’s been a bit late to the party in realising this is the best way to set our midfield up, but this is now the blueprint. All 3 were excellent, it’s clear to see how better Carey is playing alongside Dougall who also looks far better having a pass to play to the little magician Dembele. That ball he played for Rhodes chance 1st half was just unreal and I’ve never seen someone fall to the floor and be able to scoop the ball up and get away from his opponent still. Pure magic.

A special mention for Marvin. He was different class today. A proper defender, great blocks, proper tackles and heading everything he could and sorting Bishop out who was a lively tool.
If we can do that today we can do it anywhere and after the nonsense of the 2020/21 season with no fans, I think we’re all overdue watching and witnessing a proper promotion charge. I remember watching on telly that season towards the end thinking we were just so dominant and always confident, today it felt like that again.
I just hope we proper kick-on now, but with the players and options we’ve got, I don’t see how we can’t…
