More errors again today to concede the chances, clinical from Ipswich but still poor from us.

Based on todays measurement were not finishing anywhere near the top.

Had spells with the ball but create nothing at times.

Very poor. Need to start picking up some points...
 
The barometer will be very low. Judging by games so far and ours and others watched we are in relegation trouble.
Sadly we have several players who are simply not good enough for league 1.

Excellent point. Why have a goalkeeper as captain. There is perhaps the odd one or two about but not many. As quite a few have said we are like a schoolboy team. No bite, no guile. But hey it will all come good eventually !
 
Ward not improved from end of last season when he was deemed needed to get fitter, anderson never come back to cover fullback or win second ball.
 
I said this prior to the game being played, so this is not in hindsight, but we should never have agreed to play the game. The new centre half signings would have had a week to ready themselves for action and some of our injuries may have cleared.
That said it is fairly obvious we are missing an experienced presence in midfield, someone who can tackle and dictate play. With our full backs being of the attacking variety, wouldn't they be more suited to a three at the back system, then we wouldn't be so reliant on their defensive qualities, or lack of those qualities, as the case may be!
I cannot believe Ward has been selected for every game.
 
Think i might need to give the ol barometer a quick tap with me lil hammer.
See if I can get the ol mercury to shift out of the, 'unsettled times ahead' section, 🙄

You don’t have to have the captains armband to be a leader. We certainly need some outfield players to start showing some leadership though.

The barometer worked indicate stormy days ahead and potential damage to Neil Critchley's career.
