I just dont get it. To me all season he has mistakes in his game. Whenever he gets past the halfway line he seems to have a nose bleed and pulls up and either goes backwards or sideways resulting in a promising position just fizzling out. I thought there was a big difference when Garbutt came on and looked eager to get forward and got some decent crosses in. Husbands best position is on the left of a back three and not at full back.

You know fuck-

He played for the boro but he could not force is way into the team because of george friend
He was highly rated but we had a fraud of a manager called Gary Monk who sold him on

I agree with OP. Husband has been one of our weakest players all season at left back. I think he gets away with it at the left side of a back 3 as he has a player either side of him, but he’s not good enough at left back or at this level.

Husband has been one of our best performers in recent games imo...He's versatile & gets stuck in.

Anyone on here hear Husbands interview on Radio Lancs before the PNE game, about how he rated the Blackpool fans as the best fans, out of all the clubs that he had played for?

He said he didnt want to sound patronising, but he believed no other teams fans got behind their team like Blackpool, especially when they were losing.

When he was considering signing for Blackpool, he said that he spoke with his friend at Norwich (Wes Hoolahan) and that Wes told him that the Blackpool fans were incredible, and that he encouraged him to sign for us.

So glad he did.

Husband gives 100% and it's little wonder he is one of the 1st names on the teamsheet.

I like Hubby, he’s a trier but if we want to progress further than mid table next season then players like Hubby need to be moved on.

Husband had a really good first half yesterday. Him and Connolly on the bench allows the other 4 subs to be attack minded players. Happy to have him in the squad but would like to think we can get a better left back for next season.

He was excellent yesterday until going off with an injury nothing new here let's single out individual players after a defeat.

Hubby this thread,Madine, Maxwell and Hamilton on others the whole team was average yesterday it happens if the pen went in maybe so many wouldn't be negative towards our players.

Thank fuck it doesn't happen in the ground just a load of moaning old gets on here.👍

I thought he had a really good game on Tuesday against Barnsley. On a good few occasions he got to the byeline in the half-spaces.

He isn't the most natural full-back in a modern sense, but he always gives everything for the team.

Always a place in the match day squad for him.

Great player to have as cover but I will be disappointed if we cant upgrade that left back position in the summer...I also think the same of Madine...decent cover but its massively disappointing if he is plan A
