This must be a mistake

Pilley effectively gives away free tickets for the Cods who are playing the Massive and between them they could only fill two thirds of the ground! 3,901 is frankly pitiful.

He gave away tickets for the Wimbledon game, clearly they didn't like it much as it looked empty last night. The only surprise was that more Wednesday fans didn't fill the home ends for them.

1,209 away fans plus few in memorial & parkside stand
Apparently some weds fans ejected when 3rd goal went in
no mention of free tickets last night
£24 to watch that level of football

There were still lots of freebies on Tuesday, even if it wasn't an initiative. My son plays football at PoolFoot and every week is offered free tickets.
Surely andy pilley can't be making money giving free tickets away
And cheap £5 coach travel

Is there any owner who makes money out of football can't be that many?

I don't like free ticket giveaways not sure they work in the long run would rather you had to pay something or quid a kid with paying adult etc it brings in those with more of an interest and I remember when we where throwing them around many got into the hands of those who would normally have paid in the first place!

There were no free tickets against Sheff Wednesday.
If you don’t know the facts I’d keep quiet as sometimes it can make people look foolish.

No problem them giving away freebies to boost the home support when the team needs it, plus make a few bob on a few extra beers, pies and Fisherman’s Friends - but you would be pretty cheesed off if you had already spent your hard earned on a season ticket and “all” these freeloaders suddenly turn up!
