This PNE line about money

Isn't it weird how utterly deluded the Nobbers are. Had a Preston fan (who I sadly live near) say to me today 'so what's all this about Blackpool having no money'. When I asked where he'd heard that, he said all the Nobbers were talking about it. Hilarious! They would love for us to have no money but as I said, we've earned £1.2 million more than you have in the last week alone 🤣

I think someone at the club said there wasn't going to be much available for transfer fees, but "not much" could still be £1m+, especially with the extra from Villa to play with.

They make stuff up then religiously go on about it like it’s fact.
They try take the piss out of our support claiming we say we have the best fans in Europe when no one has actually claimed that.

It's a strawman argument, so they can knock it down and laugh at it.

Can only speak for me but all I've ever pointed out is that it can be very loud, one of the loudest. We have multiple neutral fans praising us etc, managers, like qpr boss and Mowbray did for eg. We can be amazing, doesn't mean were perfect.

Yet they can't seem to ever see that.

Even saw one of them a few months back claiming we had a long way to go before we matched their away support for noise 😆 TBF he's right, we do have a long way to go backwards.

Then you have their boycott delusion.

Look at this.

20220619_182349.jpg

This isn't a joke they are that thick most of them genuinely believe this.

That we couldn't be arsed watching a team 'fall down the leagues' so gave up.

Yet the boycott started in league 1 and crowds dropped massively, yet we returned IN LEAGUE 1 and crowds swelled massively.

This is a fact that nobbers can't explain, as it completely undoes their fantasy. If it was about league we're in only, why did 15k+ people suddenly turn up in league 1 where the boycott started and crowds suddenly go up massively again. 🤡

@BFCPaul This is funny, just shown themselves up again, now disputing a factual attendance.

This thread of theirs shows how delusional they are:

'Wow. 15,000 Lashers came flooding back in League 1. Impressive, considering the home attendance is limited to 11,600'

He then says...

'Yep, must have been about 10,000 locked out then? Never even had 15,000 in the Championship, including the away fans...'

What? 😅 Our home attendance is limited to 11,600 apparently. It isn't. Depends on the configuration of the fans. This was before the current ownership.

Southend brought only a few hundred fans and were put in the north, pool fans filled the whole ground.

Attendance: 15,871 (373 Away)

Thick bastard, literally disputing facts now them lot, wow next level of dumb.

'I hadn't actually noticed before but as Transfermarkt's stats show, the Lasher "boycott" ended and a whopping 3000 fans came "flooding" back while in League 1.

3000.

Not 15000'

3k came back according to this genius, a simple look at football web pages average attendances will tell you this is complete nonsense. Never mind the actual number who were attending being far less than the announced figures.

Again 🤡

'Also their boycott started in the championship coincidently when they went down.'

The game cancellation was last game of the championship. Boycott ie not attend officially got going start of league 1 campaign, if it was about dropping down to league 1 why did so many come back in league 1. These guys aren't smart at all.

Bloody hell, there's being thick and then there's just denying reality. Proper weird bunch. Never thought they'd try and deny an actual attendance thats easily provable. 🤦‍♂️

I'm sure @Norfolk White will happily correct them...... when he runs back on their telling them how deluded we are 😅

Norfolk White is a snakey bellend. Comes on here trying to engage etc and then goes back slagging us all off with his little mates.

They have very little to get excited about. Relegation beckons I think.
Yep seems so.

They are all over the place on the boycott.

It's because we went down and didn't want league 1 football but somehow we all returned in league 1.

Denying we had over 15k in the homecoming.

Wow.

Can't blame them really. When you realise they've had nothing of note to get excited about since 1938 it's little wonder that they console themselves by obsessing about our slightly smaller crowds.

Doesn't explain denying the homecoming attendance...

"Never even had 15,000 in the championship"

In the 13/14 season alone, nearly a third of our home games had more than 15,000. I would just try and ignore their bellendery tbh, they have no idea what they're talking about on any topic, and never will. Leave them to discuss where they were and what they were doing when they found out they'd sold 11,000 season tickets. It seems to be a real "I was there" moment for them.

Wasting your time trying to argue. The only way to address the money debate is for the club to go out and make some decent signings.... Hopefully that will be the case.

As for Appleton only being appointed due to lack of funds, again that's on him and his team to perform well. Even then it will be taken by some as lucky, but don't really care what they think. Anyone with half a brain will accept a successful manager was a good, well thought out appointment.

Then we get to the fans debate. All we can do is repeat or better last year's noise and support home and away. I personally think we have an advantage, as our expectations are more realistic then theirs. Let's see if they can keep their support up all year if they aren't challenging for the playoffs.

Basically, let's get the season started and time will tell how each club is prepared. But whatever happens, more than happy with how our club is being run and I have the utmost confidence in our future.

I reckon most Nobbers actually know the real story .But all they have to say is " you only boycotted because you were dropping down the leagues etc " and they get people on this board writing reams and reams about the truth . . Clever . They are reeling plenty in . Don't engage .

It’s called banter Kirt. As coming on here and trying to engage etc and the going back to my mates, yes of course, I’m not going to do it on here am I as I am a guest and am not going to come and slag you all off am I?
BTW, are you now prepared to put your mouth (posts) and take that bet I offered you after what you posted? Or are you just a wind bag?

Obsessed they know more about our club than we do , bunch of weirdos.
No different to your lot posting a load of rubbish about us saying we have no money, in a load of debt, etc. in fact you lot have more threads with posts relating to North End than we do regarding your club and you call us obsessed, weird

Yep, doesn't have a clue what he's on about and is literally making stuff up.

I don't actually mind sensible debate and a bit of banter but you can't argue with someone who ignores facts that are easily searchable and proves hes full of shit.

Very bizarre.

I know they are our main rival but I do find the whole set up to be dull, the dullard fans with accents from a hundred years ago, the boring kit, the lack of anything significant happening there in the last 75 years apart from a cheap plastic pitch, the area the ground is in which is bland suburban with hardly any pubs. Just dull.

To be fair, it probably doesn't help that a good portion of our fans believe that we have no money either.

We just spent 300k on temporary improvements to a training ground that we won't even be at in 3/4 years time.

We wouldn't put that amount of money up if we didn't already have some earmarked for transfers, we will spend, but only when we feel the deal is right.

I am not on a rivals forum posting bollox .

I think it's fair to say that our owners have the club's best interest at heart, whereas any club up for sale, like yours is facing uncertainty. Could go either way, whereas we have certainty.

Why not? Better than running off and saying look how deluded they are but then where here liking posts and being agreeable.

Be yourself.

I notice no one called out the bollox that guy was spouting.

Not being funny but if a pool fan said something like that clearly wrong, rather than back slapping and sniggering, I'd say I'm all for laughing at them but lets at least make it something accurate.

What he said was simply not true and easily proven wrong.

Then you lot have the audacity to say we make stuff up, like there's not daft people on both sides.

Tbh, some do but won't admit it but some fully believe what they're putting, guess it makes them feel better to mock what happened. It can't have been football fans taking a stand against awful owners who were suing fans etc.

They definitely aren't doing it to reel people in, some just believe we didn't bother because we went down.

But the simple fact of people coming back in the division were alleged to have avoided disproves that completely.

Makes the ones who say it look silly tbh.

I think I know which way it will go, the Nobbers are hardly an attractive proposition are they.

Quite simple really, as soon as a nobber comes on the board the ignore button is deployed.
They're a waste of space.

I reckon a lot of them do believe it.

It’s a great example of a story made to fit a narrative, and if it’s repeated often enough on social media, it becomes the new version of the truth.

Not much different to the flat Earth nutters, imo.
