Steve Thompson is on pre match on BBC Radio Lancs sport this coming Fri. No doubt we will hear about his short time at OLDHAM. . I like listening to THOMMO when he has been on BBC Radio LANCS.

Should get him back at Blackpool - great coach, reads the game brilliantly, knowledgable, eye for youngsters .. I genuinely don’t see what Mellon offered which was better?

Not sure Thommo ever had any long term plan to so heavily involved at Oldham. He only went there to advise them on recruitment.
