Thompson and Apter the only bright sparks

In what was an awful game as a Blackpool fan, Thompson looked good throughout and showed some real attacking intent - I can't say i've ever been a fan of his, but thought he had a good game today and should start on Saturday.

Apter also did very well when he came on, looked a real attacking threat and added a much needed spark second half.
 
Some buggers we've signed need to come good fairly quickly. Still early days but not what we all hoped for.

We'll that's two positions where we really need to improve so pretty positive.
 
Thompson should have been in forHamilton at least 3 games ago, just as Pennington should've been in for Ekpiteta and Connolly should never start at left wing back.
Critchley isn't helping himself by not seeing the obvious!
 
Agree with op.

If thommo MOM against prem team he really has to start sat. Defensively he ain't great but as he gives us attacking options then let's go for it.

If critch sticks with same formation and team as sat then needs sacking. Let's hope thommos display forces his hand and changes formation and team 🙏
 
You’ll know for sure that we’re living in the absurdist world of The Muppets, if Thompson is sold off and Apter loaned out by close of business on deadline day. I dread to imagine what Kermit will do next.
