Three Things you'd change at BR for next season?

1 - Stop playing garbage garbage garbage music at full blast all the way up to kick off. Let the atmosphere build. It's so poor. Does nothing for the game at all.
2 - Food is naff.
3 - Away fans North side, won't happen but would prefer it

1. Upgrade the PA
2. Put the team lineups on the scoreboard during the match
3. Improve the disabled seating so they aren't sitting at pitch level, often in the rain, with people constantly blocking their view.

Into the "Safehands Nursery" in the North Stand? I've no idea how much the club receives in rent from them, but I'm sure the North Stand would do their best to exceed it in beer and pie sales. 😄 (as well as enhancing the match experience for the fans).

As a general principle, a football stadium should focus on football. Renting out every inch of space to unrelated businesses is a legacy from the Oyston years.
It's all the community trust there now the nursery isn't there anymore 😉🙂

A permanent bird of prey to keep them %(^£ing pigeons and seagulls away.
Netting of the underside of the roof for same purpose (we're getting tired of cleaning up bird sh!t every week).
Enlarge the West stand food n beverage areas.
Open up the Northwest corridor for drinking and eating.

I understand the club want to build a North East stand with a massive concourse (aimed a servicing the North) which will hopefully take away a lot of the strain on the existing facilities in that stand. Obviously that’s not gonna happen in the next pre-season but at least it means facilities will eventually improve there.

I’m not so sure anything can be done about the West stand but long term I think using the Northern side of the West for away fans would be a smart move. Segregation could be relatively straight forward if the media were housed above the dugout along with some low level commercial sales and the North West corner could be gated off.

Home fans would then have access to the rest of the stadium including any new facilities and the majority would be on the right side of the ground for parking, transport etc.

Put some form of netting between the North and East to stop fans throwing objects at each other. Stop sprinkling the pitch when it's rained all morning. Reduce prices of Food and drink

Get rid of the categories of match day pricing.

£25 per adult and £5 per kid all matches.

Bring back the Young Seasiders supporters package or something similar for the youngsters. One thing not done enough in my opinion.

Bring back Tango coaches just for the kids .

Have a new East Stand.

I’m surprised access to the internet hasn’t had a mention, so better WiFi or 5G please

I love the idea of trying to extend the concourse and facilities for the north be it onto the car park or into the NE.
We don’t even try and get a beer these days as you would miss most of the game.

Sign Bowler onto a 5 year contract

1) Can't they sell food and drink in the stands?
2) PA , Can it have a hearing loop?
3) Cushions , obvs.

O
1. The east setup has to change, otherwise we're worse off than when we even started this season. If we're marching away fans past the north from the SE, it means we cannot use the east now, where we could before.

Something has to change, temp solution in a temp stand. The police (and club?) have allowed this way to hinder the capacity. If the police just policed the area outside the south it'd be a lot better. Let home fans go out the north gate for those who want to, It'd reduce numbers passing the south.

2. Either take away the cat pricing or adjust it, 28 and 30 on the day is too much to maximise home support, if we can find a way to use more of our capacity as per point 1. I think 20 as the lower and 24 as the upper is enough for me. We would make up some of the missing cash from more attending plus what price building the fanbase. A young adult price too, plus any further deals now and then are welcome, anything that help grow the fanbase.

3. Probably something more important but maybe the sound system, a lot of announcements in the north are almost impossible to hear.
Or maybe keep away fans in for 10 minutes .😉

Sound system and kill the music 5 mins before ko.
Transparent south stand roof panels to get sunlight on pitch.
Get mobile networks to increase local network capacity.

Its seems you can though View attachment 10471
I remember the conversations on here and on places like seasiders podcast where it was said they couldn't do it as it was against human rights.

Going to be a lot of lawsuits then by their own logic 🙄 maybe someone on twitter should put it to them.

So we cant keep fans behind at Bloomfield Road because of human rights but others can everywhere else... because... logic ✅🤦‍♂️

Makes sense you should be able to but we were told it's not possible. Hence why we march fans past the north rather than keep them and let them go south after a bit.

Why not pre-pour a bunch of pints before half time, and put lids on? They can then be stacked behind the bar. Then they can be served quickly when the crowds arrived? They aren’t going to go flat In 15 mins and the speed of service would improve… to avoid wastage, pour the minimum number sold at a game this season, then at least it deals with the bow wave and any additional sales can be poured as usual?
