Three word game.

I have it as 3-3-4. Get in!!

Critch ball is all out attack
Owen and CJ got through a lot of work yesterday. One minute pushing on, the next putting tackles in on the edge of our box.

CJ got the ball in the right areas yesterday, not on the half way line with two to beat. He’s best 1 on 1 and Reading set up very nicely for us.
👍

Agree with that. They lined up primarily as a front 4 and we’re able to do that as Kenny could cover the left side and Matty the right side from midfield with Norburn as pivot.

They both tracked back on several occasions but realistically they were more wingers than wing backs in their starting position. It looked way more balanced than than the 3-5-2 where as you say CJ had to use skill to beat their full back as opposed to being able to run into space yesterday.

Critch will review the video. I hope he has the confidence to deploy the same way at Barnsley but then we need that starting 3 in midfield to be fit to line up.

Thats a rather long 3 words, breaking your own rules. So is mine.😁

100%, let’s hope we set up the same way next game away.
Tough test at Barnsley.
