Throwing object at our club stewards

Can somebody please explain why people have to throw all sorts of objects at the stewards protecting our club.
This has happened at the last two games

There must be ghosts in the stadium throwing these objects seeing as it's been empty. Maybe the Phantom Farter?

Apparently it is Gary Madine throwing stuff at them as they grassed him up to Critch for something that caused a big row and him being dropped from the squad.
