We look poor, a slight improvement on Tuesday but TBF that wasn’t difficult. Let’s see how we are positioned at Christmas.

I invest my hard earned money (pension) in watching Blackpool I’ve every right to say what I want.
This guy is taking the club backwards at an alarming rate it’s as negative as feck at least under Appleton we had a go even though we were dire.

Do you not think Sadler is taking the club backwards? He seems to be getting a free ride. His problem is he's a fan at the end of the day and we all know how much we know

He was the one who appointed Critchley what did he say it was “the one name that kept coming back to me”

Good luck with that one Sadler fan or not.

Said from day one this wasn’t going to be right appointment.
 
I demand more ambition to actually win games rather than not lose them. This is League One and we already know we are more than good enough thanks to Dobbie’s efforts at the back end of last season.

If Critchley was the only choice then he should be delivering attacking football as a bare minimum.

Thing about this club is we never get to know who the candidates were yes we all know Dobbie went for it because he told us so.

Now we may not be a big club but surely we would have had at least a dozen applications at worst?

All I’m saying is if Critchley came out as the stand out candidate then the candidates must have been shocking.
 
You don't make silly snap decisions after a few games with incomplete squads and players gelling.

There zero chance he's going anywhere and as disappointed as I am with some of the football we're playing, nor should he IMO.

It has to improve though and so far we've given up possession football far too easily and also have been pretty toothless. OK we're hard to score against but we're not looking anywhere near dangerous to score goals, nevermind being a team pushing to go back up.

But it's early days, what won't help is over reactions and not being behind the team, although they have to give fans something.

One of the reasons I didnt want NC back was it was obvious when you go back to someone some still dislike and the way he left, as soon as things don't go as well, some turn.

However he's here and we're not miles behind the top, we're not firing on many cylinders yet and we need to do better.

Let's see if he can sort it out. I think he will, he's done it before and we started even worse.

He'll know today isn't good enough.

Which players would you have picked instead today? Anderson and Yates have gone.
Still 12 days left in the transfer window.. bring in a couple of strikers/wingers and the league will be pissed upon.

I don't recall anyone ever calling him a tactical genius! Most people realise that he's quite the opposite but accept that he's a very good coach.

I'm not a fan of his brand of football and usually critical of his tactics and formations but despite another 0-0 it was an improvement on Tuesday (performance wise).

I was quite pleased when he went, other than him dropping us in it just before pre season, and didn't want him back, unless it was as someone's No2, but he's here and we all need to get used to it.

It's not going to be pretty but most of us have seen far worse in our time following Pool!

It’s not about picking my best 11 as would be a complete waste of time as we have our most creative players (Dale) sat on the bench or not even in the squad (Trybull) on paper we have a decent player in Joseph but we’ve clearly signed a crock the problem is all too plain to see (for some) other than Norburn today we simply haven’t brought any other quality signings in to the squad.
We are still desperate for a couple of proven strikers and a centre back and I’m just not convinced they’ll arrive.

Complete bunch of tossers how about getting behind whoever managers us for a change and not constantly bemoaning them you never know we might get back to that 12th man again at games.

I didn't want Critchley, it doesn't seem to work going back to former managers. But the decision is made, and I don't think it would do much good getting rid after four games. In fact, as much as I thought appointing him was a mistake, I think the bigger issue here is the total lack of squad strengthening to replace our most effective attacking players. Patino, Poveda, Fiorini, Bowler, Yates, Anderson all gone, to be replaced by Morgan (a player one of our league rivals were happy to sell to us) and Joseph (injured - not his fault of course, but still not able to contribute). The recruitment of forwards and creative players - usually the positions that cost the most - has been non-existent tbh.
