I don't know why these games are not played during the International break. Having a free weekend because Fleetwood Galacticos had some obscure international call ups is bizarre. L1/L2 clubs could have fitted in two if not three of these EFL Trophy games.

Yes. It's not that the opposition have U21 players. It's the whole ethos of using lower league professional teams as practice fodder for their young players. It stinks!

I have no problem whatsoever with this competition. Its an ideal opportunity to give squad players some competitive football seeing as the Central League is for our Development Squad and "never the twain shall play together".
I'd really love a trip to Wembley.
