To Catch a Copper.

Started Last Night. Anti Corruption Unit at Avon and Somerset police. behind the scenes with the police that investigate there own. a police man charged with sexual misconduct with a suspect. two police charged with mishandling a suicide and another case involving what they called unprofessional conduct in a public office. this was a interesesting watch. the officers involved are dedicated to making sure their own do the right thing. I wont give anything away. Suffice to say some were sailing pretty close to the wind. One case did involve a criminal trial. its a three parter . on Channel 4. Worth a look on catch up.

Watched the first episode last night, the Sergeant who dealt with the lads that abused the woman who was trying to escape from hospital was an absolute embarrassment , did feel sorry for the officer who couldn't fight off the drunk woman who basically raped him on the journey back to her house late on christmas eve though.....

There is a pretty fine line between misconduct or not. it took channel 4 some time to negogiate this production. AND i suppose you can see why. Wouldnt be a copper EVER. too old now but having to deal with horrible things like the officer said last night. he had been suffering PTSD after seeing someione torch themselves. .

Is this a series or a one off? Shows like this, the OCG doc set in Manchester and 24 hours in police custody are brilliant, but just seem to drop an episode randomly every 9 months or so.
