To safe, to boring, to scared.

Well as long as we're discussing the accuracy of my spelling and grammar I guess theres no need to discuss the turgid football match I've just witnessed.

Wind your neck in people - have an opinion on the football we're being subjected to by Critchley!

We seem to have got side-tracked from the op, which made a fair point.

On that subject, I have no idea what Morgan brings to the party.

Is one a '**'...or Is one 'being' a **...?....asking for a friend

I thought it was a fairly good game and apart from Blackpool FC, not taking their chances or hitting the post, we matched Bolton and didn't get their asses handed to them on a plate, like some 'fans' expected.......Now back to those who are cunts.

Critchley is so obsessed with managing the game that all the fun, excitement, urgency, ooomph is just ignored for that all important 5 yard sideways/backwards pass.

Just have a go at teams man!!!!
What I don’t get is that in his first term with us it wasn’t a problem we’re always on the front foot and tactically correct more often than not.

I think we are just so slow to move the ball. We play not to lose rather than play to win. There's a world of difference in that mentality.
Kyle Joseph looked quick in thought and on it when he came on. I just hope Critch doesn't coach it out if him.
That’s it exactly, negative mentality.

That is exactly it. The system results in possession but a build up which is far too slow whereby the opposition are back in position when it counts.

I've said it before, it's just not happening for the guy. We will finish in the top 10, at this stage next season it will be the same. And then he will depart

Good OP. We were competetive without posing any real threat first half. Virtually nothing provided for Rhodes to work on. Once it became obvious that Thompson was going to have one of his giddy spells it became nervy and once we conceded that was it. Did their keeper have a single save to make? Did anyone seriously think we would score from any of the setpieces? I am seriously not enjoying the second coming of Critchley. You just know it's going to be safety first.

Where are all the usual Critchley defenders? Not on here, because I think even they are finding his style of play, or should I say, non play, indefensible.

Critchley doesn't have the ability to go attack minded when we have to. He can't set up against teams defending a lead and he can't set up against a team that is ultra attack minded. For me he's had his 1 moment of relative success when we scraped through the play-offs. Far too often we've been torn to bits by the likes of Derby, Peterborough, Wycombe, Fleetwood, Charlton and even bottom club Cheltenham when they decided to go at us. We can't cope!

We are lacking leaders but I think it's more than that. You can see players being held back. Playing within themselves, being forced to defend, play it back, not shoot. We are predictable, easy to beat, easy to defend against. As has been posted elsewhere we have the players but we have a negative manager who is tying the players' hands behind their backs.

The change was Dale for Thompson but we whacked him on upfront to replace our most creative player when he hasn’t come on there since early on this season.

Weird sub. But we love making them.

We’ve only got one half in us to compete with other teams. Never seem to perform for a full 90mins. I understand teams can have spells in games but we was not the same team second half. Same theme every single game though. If we start poor we get better and if we start well we get worse.

It’s a long time since I’ve walked out of a defeat (especially in a Derby game) with smile on my face. I was really impressed by the way we set about that game today and thought we were the better side in the first half.

Neither side had any clear cut chances really. The stats say 5 shots on target to them and 0 to us, but in my view it was very much honours even as far as proper chances were concerned… Both sides defended well and we cancelled each other out for the most part.

That said, I thought it was a really good and very entertaining game of football between two very good sides.

The great thing for me is that I genuinely think that there is more to come from this Blackpool side. We’re improving as each game goes by and no doubt we will strengthen in January…

He is just not a Holloway type manager and I’ve always said I couldn’t support many teams over the years who bore their way to a result and sadly that is where we’re getting to with Critch - dare I say it’s Appleton-esque.

I know it’ll be met with Tuts but I still think with Dobbie in charge we’d at least got value for money!

Critchley is like having to suffer that annoying splinter you can’t get rid of.
A dull pain you can’t feasibly remove.
Eventually it will work it’s way out.
