Todays ref

Thought the dickhead at Cambridge last week was worse but let’s not sugar coat things, the officials had nothing to do with todays result.

We failed to register a shot on target against a team that hadn’t won since mid October. Beyond pathetic. As much as the manager doesn’t help with his team selections at this point you have to question the players mentality. We won away at Portsmouth so there should be no excuses for the last two abysmal away performances
 
So in the PL we have as woman referee taking charge in the top flight and as coloured referee in charge of Burnley / Liverpool. They All have to start somewhere. Not excusing mistakes or bad decisions but they are all assessed . the coloured referee on Radio 4 this morning said there was ALWAYS a thought that he WAS being judged on his colour. WE have numerous players of colour. But being the man in the middle makes it 100 harder.
 
He was appalling for both sides, but not the reason we didn't have one shot on target.
Only 6 minutes added on was a joke, although we wouldn't have scored if he added 66.

I wasnt saying he was - words and meaning evolve and the word used is now not socially acceptable.

For comparison I got called out by my mrs for using the word midget the other day. I wasnt aware that this was now unacceptable. I now know that either dwarf, little person or LP is the socially acceptable descriptive word. Was news to me!!

What @Athers says - the officials will never be great at this level but if you can't even get a shot on target then you don't deserve anything from the game.
