Yup and worth a try even though I would have kept the same 11.mmm….. interesting change with Big Gaz coming in. Interesting to see if Beesley can play off him?
There must be some deal for him with so few minutes on the pitch since January.I just dont see Yates being here next season
Agreed bud. I’d have sent them out again but I guess experiment where you can.Yup and worth a try even though I would have kept the same 11.
They’re a pretty physical and direct team from what I saw on Sky last week.Probably brought Madine in because Luton bullied us at set pieces last time.
If it was a lottery i think this would be the 60th continuous rollover.I’ve never correctly predicted a Critchley team , and with only one change I never saw that one coming!
No point in risking Grimmy for the last few gamesStill no Grimshaw, anyone know how he's doing?
Dont agree with one iota of that...Lavery worked his conkers off Monday and was part of a team that won convincingly...to swap him for Madine was ridiculousLavery didn't really fit in on Monday I thought. Critch has picked the form players, really, who are both good in the air, which might be needed today. So it makes sense, in hindsight.
Why will Jerry leave? We won't sell him at a knock down price. And he might well be a different proposition next season, with a fresh start and a rejigged formation that provides better opportunities.
Opinions. I'm not sure Lavery had an attempt at goal, and you have to wonder why. I think he was involved in one goal. Not enough from him, for me.Dont agree with one iota of that...Lavery worked his conkers off Monday and was part of a team that won convincingly...to swap him for Madine was ridiculous
Voy, you need to think more about what Lavery did in terms of movement & pressing, that created space and opportunity for others. It’s the same with Jerry. I don’t get how fans are so narrow in their view of players.Opinions. I'm not sure Lavery had an attempt at goal, and you have to wonder why. I think he was involved in one goal. I would have started Jerry and Beesley myself today. I agree about the movement, I just felt Lavery didn't do enough. Birmingham were wide open. Lav and Jerry are both low on confidence. It shows. Both need chances to play, and I'd like to see how Jerry goes with Beesley.Voy, you need to think more about what Lavery did in terms of movement & pressing, that created space and opportunity for others. Based on previous similar games, he’ll leave Madine on and take off the better player.Madine was abject in that half and must go off asap...Madine has given the Luton defenders a day off thee with zero movement...lets get Yates and Lavery on and go for it..work work work
This. His reliance on Madine is as much about what he can do in our own box as in theirs.Probably brought Madine in because Luton bullied us at set pieces last time.
