Norburn must have a knock or something? Interesting to see Oakley Booth get a chance, I wasn’t even including him in our long list of midfield options.
 
Previously Critchley had stated that there were no injury issues since last Saturday, yet there is no Norburn in the team. Is this a last minute hitch or do we just treat Critchley's comments with a pinch of salt in future?

If people had paid attention he was limping towards the end of the Stevenage game. I thought he was going to be substituted, but for some reason he took Kenny off instead! Unfortunately Oakley Booth is not a tackler, much the same as Carey, so I hope we are not overrun in midfield!

I'll make sure I pay attention as to how the midfield perform 🙄
 
With Norburn missing I'd have been tempted to leave Carey out aswell, he's a bit flakey. Would've gone Dougall Oakley-Booth and Weir.
I hope Carey proves me wrong but he hasn't done yet.

OB probably at least more defensive minded than Morgan or Weir I guess, but I’d have set up with Connolly as the DM.

Connolly struggles with passing and tackling, I'd have taken Carey out aswell who struggles with the game of football and put Morgan and Weir in with Dougall.
Oakley Booth pretty much an unknown quantity but Carey really needs to up his game today.
 
No issues with Oakley-Boothe coming in, he's probably the most athletic of our midfield options and seems fairly composed on the ball. Critchley didn't mention any issues with injuries in his presser, so maybe it's sickness regarding Norburn. As for Carey, I just don't see it but maybe today he can start to show a bit more.

He rarely says someone will be out other than the long-term ones so the opposition can't plan for it.

Upper back problem for Norburn was just quoted by Chizzy so for all we know it could be his big toe
