Obviously, this is a position that needed filling. Question is whether he's fit and ready for Championship football NOW and the rest of the season. We don't need scraps and 'good when fit' types. We need oven ready players.

Exactly what we need (well I can think of a couple players we have like that who have spent more time injured than actually playing). Hopefully he stays fit and can do the dirty work whilst the likes of Poveda, Patino and Carey do the fancy stuff in front of him.
 
Looks good to me, played in a 4 2 3 1 for Norwich in the holding role, so should suit Appyball perfectly
 
Just been on the SV Sandhausen fans forum and it basically sounds like he came in this time last season and was a star performer keeping them up last season.

They suspect, off the back of that, he was wanting a move to a bigger club in the summer, it didn't happen, and since then he's not been as highly performing but has also been played out of position including in central defence so and likely had a fall out with their manager as he's not a yes-man.

Sounds perfect for us as a tough defensive midfielder.

Never heard of him.

Here's hoping he can add some more quality to the squad, and help us stay up...Watford is a massive game game...please no Madine 🙏
