Try telling the fans that were there tonight that the FA cup has no appeal anymore.

Great to see the the noisy twelfth man return again.

The 6000 or so home fans sounded as loud as anything this season, especially in the Kop.

And an almost fine performance from the players.
 
Best fame I've been to ina long time. Forest were obviously the better side but the passion shown by our lads the second half and the effort they put in was absolutely phenomenal. We'll done lads.

True, but it is also a bit different against sides that come at us, rather than sit in.

But we do seem to be growing as a side and learning how to create more and use the play we have.
 
Pushed Forest all the way, never say die attitude and playing at pace what difference that made. More of the same please ! Shame about the defensive errors and oh Dembele if only.
 
As much as the players need to give the fans something, I've always thought that the fans push the players to be more attacking too when they are on it. Whilst some may argue the players have been safe and steady in a a few games this season, the fans have also been down in the dumps and quiet too.
Not last night though, 1st time in a long time everyone's been together and I think we all fans and players put in a great performance.
 
A great night, a great game, a great performance from all our players, a fantastic atmosphere and a long journey home. got to bed at 12.40. All those who cuddled up in front of their tellies missed something not often seen now a true FA Cup game. The atmosphere was something I haven't experienced for a long time, something you can't conjure up on a television.

Well done to all the players, they all played their hearts out and to come back from two down and almost win it at the very end of normal time was a magnificent effort.

A half decent ref, some good, no nonsense, football from both sides, and in the end probably a fair result.

Oh , and for all those who were worried about the cold, it was a lot warmer than Yorkshire, believe me, and apart from my fingers I was reasonably warm with my extra layers all night.
