Tony Parkes

It’s a shame he wasn’t with us longer as he was brilliant and a very decent guy. Such a shame how his illnesses have escalated to where he’s at now, so quickly. Very sad.

That’s a shame.
I was in corporate when we played Blackburn at ewood (he was half time guest) 2 years ago and he was looking frail then. I saw him outside the ground with his daughter and managed to have a chat with him. I mentioned he was very highly thought of amongst Blackpool fans and thanked him for his time here and the signings he made were key to our promotion to the premiership. I don’t know how much he took in but he was listening very intently but looked confused and didn’t say much back but I’m glad I got the chance to speak with him.
A true gentlemen.

It is a shocking disease, my mum didn't recognise me, thought I was her husband who had died in 1974, didn't know whether she was on this earth or fullers, A wonderful woman and mother who was sadly deprived of all her faculties until she passed away.

It's very sad to see someone whether it be Tony or a loved one start to disappear as the person you knew slowly before your eyes. I really feel for him & his family especially as unfortunately he won't be aware any more what's wrong with him. Horrible disease.

All the best to him, he deserved better than Joffrey lying that he'd left for personal reasons, I always thought it was VB who wasn't keen though?

Did brilliantly rebuilding after Grayson left us with half a team, never should have brought Lee Hughes in though.
