Like @Lala , I'm guessing It's an electrical fire, from the external lighting perhaps.

If it is electrical, they'll be able to use foam based extinguishers rather than water. A few fire engines just passed me on Park Road so hoping it can be controlled ASAP.

They are trained to get up steps in tower blocks in full gear and there are pretty good access steps all the way to the top. It’s getting enough foam up there that’s the problem.

The drier the timber the less smoke. At least that's how it works with my woodburner. And that timber is likely very old.

It was just the orange netting flapping in the wind, (that they are using for renovation).

And they sent a helicopter and 6 fire engines!
